Hemohemo: trade with demo 1st. but if u willing to burn some cash, usd100 will do the job. mind u...with 100usd, trade with max 5 cents per contract. n no more than 5 contract. also, try no hold a position too long unless u sure of the trend.

imho..demo is rubbish. real money (usd100) learning much more effective. demo only work for a beginner to understand the concept of the trading platform n the terms used in trading. after familiar with those stuff...it is advise to continue learning with real money by trading small with cautions.

could not agree more. we shall see whether GU will break 23/02/2010 high or not today.

for a start, u could try instaforex. try the demo 1st ya. once u grab the fundamental, start live small for learning process. once u familiar with stuff, u can choose whatever broker u like.

put aside bucketshop issue. instaforex provide fast cash in as needed by him. usd100 for a real live learning is worth give it a try. after becoming a pro, seasoned trader , its up to him to migrate to any other broker

err..nope, passing R2 n a sudden drop below R1. would the pair break R1 again today? now, enters the correction period (if no sudden R1 re-break). owh...its gonna be a really2 long one. 23/02/2010 is @ 1.5572.

fyi, feb high is on 03/02/2010 @ 1.6066.

a re-break above R1 more than 10-15 pips...the pair is up up n away n its only north if GU breaking today R2 real hard.
no break? a bear we had there.

btw, i'm not good with long period chart...especially week, month, n sometimes day. mostly, i'm scalping at 5M...sometimes at 15M.

afaik, no min. but i suggest, start with usd100 n trade no more than 5 cents per contract. instaforex is so so,if u want to trade in Ks, better choose others. i'm answering u based on ur needs, fast cash in. instaforex cash out, is slow. 1-3,4 days. trade with the intention to study. u'll learn more thru live trading.

if u wanna try instaforex demo, start with usd100 too.

week close in between those 2 values...i hv no idea

its possible lah anything is possible in FX. losing all capital in 1 day also possible. not only in one day, 1 hour...1 minutes also possible lah.

look, eveyday pips up n down is ±200 pips (GBP/USD). let say it move straight down 100, then straight up 100. to gain 250, u need to place an order of $1.25. at the end...violla!!! $250. BUT...keep in mind, once an order is placed, there are risk the pips not moving into ur favor, HENCE, u r playing with fire here. any sudden shift the other way around, u r losing ur capital. would you take the risk? your choice my fren. may god bless u.

probably end of this week we can see gbp/usd touching 1.5000. currently at critical .5110-.5120 range.

so far from my reading, either one win, each need to come u with good economic plan. brits favor conservative over labour. more ppls believe budget cuts n taxes could fix brits economy.

yeah. 12% vs GDP is scary thing to think. still wondering what they will come up with to solve it.

i'm still strong on bearish GU...not until a clear cut solution available. also, a minor win is ain't good too.

whoopss...lose my chance to close long w8 contract.

well...i margin call already. haha. forgot to remove take profit + sudden pc fail. whole friday cant trade n monitor forex. as soon as i wake up knowing that the pc fail, already got feeling, today (friday) sure margin call.

i'll use the balance to regain what is lost back. this will take long long long time to recover. i believe...many of u make huge profit from friday trades.

next week...GU probably wont go below last week lowest. may try 1.5000. probaly will still to go above. then it will go down..lingers between last week low to 1.5000. will update after i review last week trend n UK political situation + its new economic policy.

no i forgot to remove take profit. set them few days before that i totally forgot about them. once it closes...the loses came into action. n there margin call greets me warmly. demwit

nvm lor. things happen. lesson learned.

in my opinion, the bail out will not last long.

GU already touch 1.5000 n still climbing.

luqmanz: what happen after pyramid formed (upside down)? a fall? or climb non-stop?
