Hmm anyone come across applications which allows you to use the laptop's internet connection to connect the android to the internet??
sort of like a tether but instead of using the phone to go online.. the phone uses the laptop internet connection to go online..
Hope this isnt hard to understand...
**Additional info For those that use windows mobile before would understand i think...

My office used to do that, connect the laptop to USB modem, and share out the connection using ad-hoc. Hmmm, but i dont know the settings and my vista cant seem to work with it!!!!

why do you need to reverse tether? Your internet sharing should be able to accomplish this if you do it right. Make sure you enable the internet sharing in your sharing options.., make a network from your wifi and use your phone to connect to it..

you can create an ad-hoc network with your laptop, and then it is possible.
