Whoa... been waiting for this for ages... I got myself version 3.0 and yet to open it! Probably sell it off and then get this. This is the real deal. I know I can update my 3.0 to version 4.0, but I want the real deal. Well, anyways didn't know it had been released for a few weeks already.

Thus far reviews have been glowing. Fact is, I tried the Beta and loved every bit of it.

i think you can download the trail for the 4.0 and use your 3.0 key to activate it. that way you won't have to upgrade.

Lol... made a deal with my sis to sell off my unopened 360 Version 3.0...

Just yesterday I bought the 3 PCs 1 Year boxed version of Norton 360 Version 4.0. It wasn't easy getting it... many shops around my area didn't have it. Got it All IT at Ikano. I could have easily used the 3.0 version then get the upgrade to 4.0... but since it is unopened and 4.0 was approaching, decided to wait and buy it while 'selling' off 3.0

Ya, Norton 360 v3.0 can be upgraded to v4.0. I have just activated mine and consider upgrade from NIS2010. Norton is simply the best AV thus far for year 2010.

Overall I on a personal note find N360 v4 better than kaspersky pure coz

1)speed of installation
2)ease of usage for all levels
3) Reasonable pricing

Nearly a year later and Norton 360 Version 5.0 has been released!

I have about 14 days left in my 1-year 3 PCs subscription and hoping to get v5.0 soon.

Norton 360 Version 4.0 - - absolutely amazing. It did its job well. Updates are within the hour and automatic scans etc.

360 v5.0 is said to be even lower on resources (!) and tests indicate it being the top of the pack.

Personally v5 is a better improvement over v4 especially on Norton Insight control as v4 gave me problems when I wanted to update my local GPS maps! So glad that v5 has for me personally solved this problem!
