actually this hsbb triple play, in future, if you stop using your copper phone line and depend on this dect/ip phone

what happens if TNB got problems, electricity got cut off and need to make emergency call?

we expect/assume that people will have or have access to a mobile phone?

got no laws covering this? ie tm need to make sure that at least the phone can be used for x hours even if blackout?

or maybe tm should say waive their line rental or give discounts for those who subscribe to this triple play but still want/need to maintain their copper line for emergencies etc??

that is not the point. ie, if you can afford to subscribe to hsbb, you WILL definately own a cell phone which can be used if and when your voip does not work...

what good does a phone do in an emergency anyway? really? cmon...

its not answered when you dial? really? in any case that is a totally separate issue.

i have only dialed for help once. yes once. that was 30 years ago and it worked so i am not sure if calls get answered or not today. i have not been crank calling these numbers to see if anyone answered so i do not know for sure if anyone really answers or not BUT I WOULD EXPECT IT WOULD BE answered..

hmm i seriously doubt that. maybe during trial only so they can login into the router and check things out...

i purposely bought the wrt610n to use the 5ghz band coz there are like 5 wifi networks i can detect...

eh pls dont hope that the pm will talk about every single detail of hsbb...if he does then good for all of us

eg.

maybe he will talk about 5Mbps @ RM99, affordable, good...awesome...etc etc

but who knows about FUP could be 30Gb, upload 512Kbps etc etc

he might not talk about...eg...20Mbps will be RM399 etc etc...the not so good news

hey this is a PR event...to say we have broadband that is faster than current 4Mbps streamx...at LAST

dont expect too much info on the MINOR details...
