QUOTE(0110 @ Mar 18 2010, 09:30 AM) I've been testing HSBB for 1 month already. i used to have this problem.. due to the stupid router tmnet give..Does anyone else have this problem with their router+modem? My wired connection is perfectly fine. But the problem is wireless. It is quite unstable. The wireless network can't be detected sometimes. (From all the laptops in the house) Does anyone else have this problem? anyway.. there is a setting u can make .. took me few hours to find out lol.. there is a setting in advance mode for wireless.. where the default setting is (20/40hz) change the setting to 20hz then u r done.. thats for my case la (now im at office cant guide u but give u a rough guide la haha).. my router is like 10meters away from my pc.. last time can connect but cannot get into internet because of that.. now solved.. somehow the router is pahria.. ping not so stable and cannot modify the antenna cos cannot take out.. one piece one knn.. |

QUOTE(sheep @ Mar 19 2010, 10:12 AM) I also have a DIR-615 it is working fine... im using N punya usb router...i need to switch back to 20hz in order to get more stable connection.. or else will be like shyt cant even connect to the router 192 168 0 1Please check if: 1. If your Wireless SSID is hidden. 2. If your wireless channel is located on channel 13. If so adjust it back to 11 and below and try again. If that solve your issue. Added on March 19, 2010, 10:21 am I think that you are using the 802.11b/g device (11~54Mbps) for that you really need to disable the 20/40Mhz wide channel implementation. Backword compatilibity on 802.11n -> 802.11a/b/g Added on March 19, 2010, 10:22 am Er?? You sure? That have no happen to me though. What is the firmware version you have on your DIR-615 now ok la.. much better but ping stilll spike up and down.. but much better than before ler.. ping timeout all the time.. then only 1 or 2 lines got respond. |

hi experts ive encountered this problem... my optic cable line at downstairs. it was a bad mistake as both me and my bros pc were upstairs. we dont want those tm ppl to hack our wall thats why we want it to be simple. but both our pc cannot detect the router from upstairs.. so we decided to buy a 20m lan cable and bring the router to the top floor. while the modem is still downstairs.. problems solved after that..
but now.. my ps3 which is downstairs.. haha cannot connect.. want to ask you guys.. from the back of the fibre optic modem got 4 lan port.. 1 already connected to the wireless router.. can i use another port to connect it to my ps3?? because i tried.. and use wired connection it cannot detect. |
