QUOTE(JayC75 @ Feb 21 2010, 10:54 AM) since the router is a must, guess most of us will hv to sell our existing router when it's available and may be coz most router brand sale decrease... The router is a must for the beta testers since the settings/configuration for it is still not known yet. If you can get your hands on it then you should be able to connect with any other routers. |

Well, it would be best not to get too excited first. Once the official pricing is out, at least we'll be able to come up with some constructive comments rather than going on and on with the speculations.

QUOTE(twL @ Mar 24 2010, 11:23 AM) my area using 1mbps is quite slow, There's also one thing which I'm quite confused with this issue. They stated Petaling Jaya to be in Q3 and Kelana Jaya in Q4 but Kelana Jaya is already in Petaling Jaya area, so when they stated Petaling Jaya, nobody knows exactly where they are referring to. if my area hv many streamyx users, y i don see the hsbb box? i pay RM110 every month for my streamyx, if HSBB only RM150 and above, i think i will very disappointed with TM's service.. everytime my area will get the 'new service' at last.. Added on March 24, 2010, 11:25 am from the list, they wrote Klang will be available by Q4, i think they wont cover whole klang area, only on some selected areas with high demand, right? |

QUOTE(ycs @ Mar 24 2010, 12:08 PM) i think its more related to the telephone exchange area rather than geographical map area cos a particular exchange can overlap into several adjoining postcodes That's the thing, so will Petaling Jaya be covered in Q3 except for Kelana Jaya which they stated Q4? I think TM has to be slightly more specific in it though. |
