Ppl like should stop using the internet, if u expect to pay peanuts and download 24/7. U should open your own ISP company, I want to see what will ur company packages are.
Anyway, pricing for HSBB is

5mb = RM150. 60 gb capped
10mb = RM199. 80gb capped
20mb = Rm249. 120gb capped.

Info from inside.

That way gonna stick back to 4Mbps tqvm.
MX510 does 30GB a day average, on his 4Mbps

Even Australia has better speed+cap+pricing than we are paying on ADSLx somemore. They are in the middle of nowhere, thats why international bandwidth is expensive, Malaysia is to quote from our history textbook 'Tempat yang strategik di antara timur dan barat'

It's 40GB per day if my 115.xxx ip can get maximum speed for 24 hours on 4 Mbps

So if got bandwidth limit for HSSB i will say goodbye lah

There's some truth in that FUP is a standard practise globally.

The Japanese practice for FUP for their 1Gbps line is 900GB upload permonth @ 30GB a day. No download limit.
See? Even Japan has FUP.

Exclusive What's in store for TM's IPTV?

KUALA LUMPUR: As TELEKOM MALAYSIA BHD [] ™ rolls out its high-speed broadband (HSBB), the telco giant will embark on providing TV programming and video content via its Internet over Protocol TV (IPTV) service.

Bundled with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) offering and high-speed Internet access of up to 10 megabits per second, it will enhance the value of the HSBB which will be officially launched on Wednesday, March 24 by Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

The  Prime Minister may announce the price points of the IPTV and market expectations are the HSBB bundle will cost more than RM200.

Piped over a dedicated fixed line capable of offering a download speed of up to eight megabits per second, the IPTV transmission is not expected to be affected by external factors such as poor weather.

The IPTV will require a set-up box offered free when signing up for the HSBB.

The advantage is consumers can access 22 channels inclusive of two high-definition channels. Aside from six free-to-air channels, the other channels are BBC Knowledge, BBC Lifestyle, CBeebies, Channel News Asia, DWTV Asia +, Travel, Channel International, Star Chinese Movies 2, Star Chinese Channel, Channel [V] Taiwan, Euronews, FTV HD and LUXE.TV.

Largely comprising lifestyle offerings, consumers can look forward to at least 22 channels, of which two are in high definition. The viewing experience will be optimised with a high-definition television.

TM is said to be offering four interactive channels -- MalaysianHistory, Malaysian Football, Tourism and Games.

It is understood that the telco is eyeing opportunities to introduce a commercial element to the interactive channels, much like the home shopping channels in the USA.

For navigation, TM will provide a remote control to toggle between the IPTV and video-on-demand (VoD) menu. The remote control will allow users to actually have more control over their viewing experience as they will be able to rewind, fast forward, pause and stop the VOD.

TM confirms it will procure a mix of newer and older movies from Sony Pictures, CBS, Disney-ABC and Hit Entertainment, but it has been learnt that Chinese and Hindi movies will also be added in the mix.

So far, the HSBB trials have been conducted in four exchanges, namely Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam and Bangsar. Some 160,000 households have been HSBB-enabled to date.

The launch of the next-generation broadband connection is the culmination of a RM11.3 billion investment - with RM8.9 billion from TM's own coffers on top of the RM2.4 billion extended by the government
