QUOTE(motorhead @ Feb 17 2010, 12:34 PM) Eg: "Company’s additional *** new ordinary shares of RM** each issued pursuant the aforesaid Scheme will be granted listing and quotation with effect from ***." 1. Mean some employees exercised their rights to purchase company share at pre-determined price in accordance to their service contract. In Malaysia, normally ESOS is from newly formed share, other countries might not be the case.1.) Wats the meaning for the above quote? Izzit new quantity of share is going to be added in listing? 2.) What effect to the share price? rgds 2. Virtually no impact, as the volume normally small in comparison with total paid up capital. Think there is normally cap of ESOS to be less than 10% of the paid up capital, and normally no way near that. |

QUOTE(htt @ Feb 17 2010, 12:59 PM) 1. Mean some employees exercised their rights to purchase company share at pre-determined price in accordance to their service contract. In Malaysia, normally ESOS is from newly formed share, other countries might not be the case. small quantity of ESOS wont affect much, but high large quantity of ESOS will reduce Earning Per Share (EPS) and increase the PE.2. Virtually no impact, as the volume normally small in comparison with total paid up capital. Think there is normally cap of ESOS to be less than 10% of the paid up capital, and normally no way near that. |
