Ok, what I'm about to say isn't bout burn-in, but probably related. My 40" Sony LCD TV S series have a contrast enhancer problem.. Let's say the image on the screen is a small blue dot about the size of a ping pong ball with a black background, the contrast enhancer will then try to make the majority of the screen (which is black) more deeper and thus, making the small blue dot became small white dot.. It sucks..

Oh, u too? It's like the only way is to enter the service mode which is risky.. way to risky..
