What a coincidence, we also just got back from BKK last SUN and also stayed in Best Western Mayfair

Due to low season, they've upgraded our standard room (THB1000/night) to deluxe room! Best of all, free wifi and internet access in the lobby. I've stayed in Grand Watergate which is a stone throw away from here, and I've gotta say, BWM's breakfast is much much better. The only problem...it's deeper into the dark alleys

CentralWorld and BigC closed due to the protests before
Gotta walk all the way to Siam Paragon and Discovery for the mall foods.

Everything seems normal and fine, not as pack as before but it's still quite a handful tourists...

i'm not sure about u, but i didn't find that tuk-tuk driver guy very friendly...most of the time he's like in a hurry and doesn't really smile...but the rest of the staffs are excellent though
