Chatuchak ---- is it open on from monday to friday???
*
Edited: It's open on weekdays as well but not applicable to all stalls though. I was once told by the locals that it's only open on weekends as the name says "Chatuchak Weekend Market".

WED-THU (Plants & Flowers) 6.00 am - 6.00 pm.
FRI (Wholesale day) 6.00 am - 6.00 pm.
SAT-SUN (Miscellaneous) 6.00 am - 6.00 pm.

my god.. i bought my ticket on tuesday to friday... is it a big lose witout a visit to chatuchak nite market??

It's more like a morning market. Just got to know that it's open on weekdays as well but not applicable to all stalls though.

I think it's up to individuals to determine whether it's a loss or not but for me personally, i would still visit Chatuchak again on my next Bangkok trip.. on a weekend, of course. For more info: http://www.chatuchak.org/

hi.. is it save if i booking hotel thru ?????????

If you are talking about security, Agoda is pretty much reliable. I always use Agoda for all my hotel bookings. And the prices i got are always cheaper than what were being quoted by the hotels.

Chatuchak during weekdays is very very quiet... last time i went during weekday, only saw those stalls selling flowers and plants open... and a few fish shop... overall it is quite meaningless to go during weekday...

Yep yep i agree i myself will only go on a weekend.

Watch out for BIG liars around Grand palace n Wat po - the tuk tuk driver will con u to another place saying that palace is close.

Yes absolutely. During my 1st trip there, we reached Grand Palace by taxi and there was this mother and son standing right outside. They kept on pestering us by giving us the bird food and asked us to feed the pigeons. After numerous tries, we fell for it. When we were done, they asked for THB1000 from us. Why? Because we used the bird food they 'sold' to us and it costs THB1000. We ended up giving them THB100 and told them take it or leave it.
