During renovation process, there are certain things that i may want to change. Example the iron gate, current built in cabinet, doors, etc

I know these kind of things fetch some price in scrap market

Question is, I assume normally the contractor will take it away ? In this case, do you normally ask for rebate for him ?

If you want to sell yourself, does the wooden things fetch a price at all ?
