QUOTE(destfull @ Feb 23 2010, 01:32 AM) Guys, is it too much using liveview will shorten the lifespan of sensor? ahhhh... this is where as a alpha user, proud to say, it only applys sensor liveview that used by Nikon and Canon LV technology. this is where Sony Alpha surpass them in LV technology.I've been reading comments on article at Digital Photography School - http://digital-photography-school.com/sony...w#comment-86344 sony uses a dedicated additional sensor for LV, the main sensor is safe sitting behind the shutter. but sony has several unit that able to expose the mainsensor for liveview for more accurate Manual Focus uses. that IF u plan to use MF. |

eddybeh, i'd say tammy 1024, u get good range, and good aperture range(better night lens then all other 4 lens) at the same time... if u wan good sharp photo, usually F8 does the trick... also, as long as u dont pixel peep, because we have over 10MP to shoot (newer model are even bigger pixel) it is wayyyy enough and sharp once u resize it even by 5% smaller. or u can always use photoshop sharpen tools

kmarc, honestly, u gain more with 18250+F58, then with 18250+1750F2.8. anyway,... part of u will regret why didnt u grab the F58 when u uses 1750 noticing sometimes the Shutter Speed are still NOT fast enough... 1750 can anytime grab a 2nd hand one (so many everywhere) and use use, if dun like, can sell anytime...
the wired for offshoe flash, just for strobing... with F20 =.= no point ler... might as well post who from sibu, come out outing and test play the F58 or F42... save more time and money... |

QUOTE(wingster @ Mar 3 2010, 05:51 PM) it wont boost ur batt, unless u get extra batt... Lol....for A550(and A300series), seriously, i find it a little overrate and pricey for the ori grip for 1 dail and 2 button, and a shutter release... just buy the 3rd party ones if u think u prefer to hold it portrait orientation. i myself felt comfy without it thou |

QUOTE(porkchop @ Mar 3 2010, 06:36 PM) ier, sushi i like the last one...no point having the others too distracting since ur emphasizing the sushi instead.. same pic. i was trying to relay the msg, that 10mp give u a lot space to work with... that pic is cropped from a much larger pic, so is the first pic is also crop from the same larger pic.and wanna ask, the last pic is also a crop from your first pic or its a different shot?? |

lugia: i couldnt agree more.
Fighteden: A330 are said to have a 'little' (unnoticable? lol) iso improvement to A300. faster AF (and better accuracy score) then A300. the liveview are the same though(usually i disable all the display around the LV, just plain image) some people just love the A300 for their GRIP, and additional Vgrip(optional purchase) whereelse there is NO Vgrip for A330. A330 score pretty well (for now) on mobility... i'd get one A330 if i dont own any camera body. for the 18-55/70. definately go for 1855, they are indeed far more sharper lens for landscape. the 70 has a little softer corners (centre still sharp) as for the extra 15mm, u can easily grab a 2nd hand 1870 online for rm300++, that if u really wan to grab it. IF u are going serious with photography, just use whichever one u grab, 6 month or a year later, go 16-80Z or tamron1750 as kitlens replacement. (HA! the tamron 1750 is even shorter, but HIGHLY recommended lens~) but again, if u have money (i bet everyone else will say the same thing) pls reconsider A450/A500/A550. but if u plan to buy to shoot birthday party and vacation to china(etc), A330 is just fine~... but if u plan to go event shooting, more intense shooting, pls reconsider. :Poison btw, prepare extra 1k then ur initial budget, coz after 1 month of using DSLR, u will definitely back asking bout flash This post has been edited by ieR: Mar 5 2010, 11:57 AM |
