if i can choose two, i will choose Call of Duty: United Offensive and COD4.

COD:UO is more action oriented than COD1, and COD4 is total new Hollywood-style experience.

My choice will be COD4 because i already play WW2 game since Medal of Honor and provide me nothing new until i play COD4. Sniper mission in Chernobyl is still my favorite COD moment.

Long live COD4!

For FPS gameplay, I'll agree, UO was right up there.

MW2 despite it being horrible for multiplayer is actually really good as an action game. Not to mention the AI being a step up. I just still can't get used to auto-regen for FPS, though, even though almost every single big title since CoD2 has been such. tongue.gif

I still play COD 4 everytime I come home from work even though I already have many new games to play. I will play at least 1 hour/1 mission then only play another game ><. The only time I stop playing is when I started Dragon Age..

COD 2 : This game has the most extensive focus on British campaign, especially on Nothern Africa campaign.

World At War : Treynach can do more with this but alas, I still like it.

This. The Russian part of COD was EPIC. Still remember the mission where you start in a boat crossing the river Volga.

Yeah, can't seem to get that feeling from other COD anymore. Don't know about the new one. Might give that a try later.

Boat crossing river of Volga, once off-boat, you'll have to rush left and right avoiding those MGs
That's was the most memorable part for me in COD

I find that mission so bugged for me till it kind of killed the fun.

Still, the American invasion mission is awesome. It felt like a war when i was sitting on a heli, seeing some Apaches flying beside me and Abrams tanks rolling on the ground. Then,it ended with a nuke.

I felt that the storyline for MW1 was a bit forced.

Against communists, probably make sense in 1980s, not so much in 21st century. Just my 2 cents.

The single player mode campaign/storyline for MW and MW 2 is too short.
