what is the normal delivery period for the M11x? i just made my order on 25th Feb. Now only showing "Order Confirmed" in my order status page.

i was charged too. my m11x order still stuck in the "order confirmed" section only. i think Dell takes your money first b4 they give u the goods.

YESSS!!! my m11x arrived today.

it's smaller than i expected, but heavier than my current Sony Vaio SZ (maybe coz the Sony has carbon fibre)

when i try to adjust the volume via the FN keys on my M11X, nothing appeared on-screen to tell me the volume level, but the volume is still adjustable. is this normal?

but isn't it a little weird? i think even a RM999 netbook would show me a volume OSD whenever i adjust it, let alone an Alienware lappie.

is there any way to make something appear? only when i use the FN key to mute that i get some sort of "display" telling me it's on mute.

another question,

it is said that u are able to switch between the GT 335M and the Integrated GMA via the "graphics mode" icon at the taskbar, but i'm unable to do so. i can only do it via Fn+F6. so how do u switch gfx from the taskbar?

if u click on the icon on the taskbar and select "How Do I Set The Graphics Mode?", you'll see that option listed there.

imho, if u want to do hardcore gaming, get a bigger badass laptop like the M15x or the M17x or better yet, an almighty desktop. the m11x is just nice to pass the time away while on the move, not hardcore games.

anyways, no one has replied on how to switch the gfx via the taskbar icon. if that option is listed down, there should be a way.

it happens. i got my m11x 3 days earlier than what they told me, although they did delay my order b4 that.
