i do not noticed any switching off like from bios or window. and i never heard about that before actually.

if i do not want to use my battery, i will unplugged it and use DC only.

Certain Dell Laptops like those XPS and Studio series can disable battery charging in bios. Similiar to unplugging it physically but how effective this compared to removing the whole battery I have no idea. tongue.gif

Dell Care Premium [add RM 652.00 or RM 54/month-1]

can anyone explain to me what is this? lolz.. why is this more expensive than this:
3-year Premier Service with 3-year CompleteCover [add RM 473.00 or RM 39/month-1]
Accidents can happen. Upgrade to full cover and total peace of mind.
since 3 year means international warranty, what does dell care premium means.

Dell Care

From sum of the googles info, should be the same with a Dell On Call Extra Help Desk 13 Months ? Not really sure bout it. As far as I know My whole 3 Years dell care they basically sends a guy over checks the prob and replace wuteva is needed. tongue.gif
Didn't really get to use the whole warranty as most of my dell systems and lappies ran fine beside the projector had sum minor quirk on the power button thingy.

if u mean processor..its 1.3 but it could be OCed to 1.6 if ur lucky

Why lucky if can be oc to 1.6 ? Factory default is 1.3ghz and can o/c to 1.6. No need any luck, If 1.73 then u need sum luck the same spec on ASUS UL50VT can run at 1.73 sum even claim higher. If dell is smart they should enable o/c to 1.73 or even 1.86 to gain performance.
