I have a question, probably a very noob one, but I just can't figure it out. When you buy a laptop [in this case, an Alienware] do you also get the genuine windows 7 dvd and the laptop's driver cd? I'm just curious. thanks.

IIRC I got both CD's which I keep inside the ALIENWARE's Leather covered Manual. I make use of the CD Sleeve built into the Manual...

The Alienware Manual that comes with your notebook, the back page acts like a CD Sleeve where you can insert few CDs to store them there.

hmm btw putchip, u may wanna post a picture or two of how u remove the battery of m11x especially. as in how's the inner gonna look like after u remove and isit hard to be removed..

Guys ... I just noticed this as well.
My service tag ID is practically disappearing! It looks like it was painted so "the paint" is practically 'peeling' away.
Perhaps the folks here experience the same thing.

Not sure what happened since it is most of the time either sitting on my cooler @ the office / home.
