recently many ppl cant charge their battery, its like a trend. i have no idea why also..
the benq i sold cannot be charged recently according to the buyer.
my fren's laptop also cant charge recently. but after restart or replugging battery then can charge edi.

1 - ON your lappy using Battery.

2 - plug in the charger to the DC socket and make sure the blue circle is lighted.

3 - plug the charger into your lappy, make sure the light is not blinking, but light constantly.

try this out and post here the result

you plug in the adapter to the DC socket, and blue circle didn't light up?
what is the temp during fans start to kick?

don't bother about 9400G temp because it attached on the M17x mobo with no massive heatsink. even is no usage at all (when activating Hybrid GPU), its temp still will elevate since it act as main hub for everything - USB port etc.

so 70 is not excessive for me
try to recheck the connection of cable again.
if its still don't light up, you need to change to the new one i guess.

CPU temp - OK
9400M temp - OK
GTX280M temp - OK

hm try to use it more frequent to see if this problem disappear or not.

wait, how can you use it when you can't charge it?

the only game i touch 2dy was dota and browsing the net

my max temp since afternoon till now is
proc 1 = 59
proc 2 = 66
GC 280 1 = 59
GC 280 2 = 61
GC 9400 = 72

and i was in air con room d whole time

err how loud is your fan? during idle or gaming?

nothing wrong with mine.

i had that sound too, but i think its from vibration due to unsuitable bag on long journey.

it can be solved by opening the casing and check the fan directly but too lazy to work that out.

maybe you should meet up with other M17x owner, so that they can compare their monster with yours

who's gonna be the one organizing the gathering?
