What's the difference between, Local cheque & Outstation cheque? Serious Talk

If the cheque issuer was Standard Chartered KL and I deposit into my CIMB bank, what should I choose?
Does it make any difference if i tick either of the option (Local or Outstation) on the cheque deposit form? |

no, local means same branch, will process on that day. While others will take 3 working days. If my memory serve me right as nowadays I'm not the person in charge this stuff anymore lol.

But they have the option for HOUSE Check (in malay: cek cawangan ini) also. wtf. |

Local - Meaning cheques issued in the same zone as the receiving bank.
Outstation, would be something like a Penang bank cheque being deposited into a KL bank. House cheque, cheque issued and deposited at the same bank branch. |

first tiem use cheque serbis ere, bro?
