Don't get me wrong, the POHD is a great media player. In the end I prefer the WDTV Live because it does what it does best that is play all my mkv(including those high reframes mkv) and offer sharper picture quality. Also the menu is much more simple therefore easier to operate by my wife and kids.
Im watching 1080p Transformer 2 using WDTV Live few days ago. Play until 22 min the movie just hang and it can't pass through. I try several time ON and OFF but still the same problem accured. I don't give up and try the same file with my laptop using Divx Player, notice that on frame 22min, there is a fast flicker appear on the movie and the movie still continue playing. This seems that WDTV is unable to pass through with just a very tiny bad sector in the mkv file. The worse case is that, WDTV don't have time seek which I cant watch the rest of the Transformer 2.
