I don't think is an issue there, basically the Thumbgen only generate the image (jpg) which u need to store together with the movie inside 1 folder.

So whenever u opened the folder, u able to view the image (jpg) . I think u only need to update to the beta firmware only. I might be wrong tho, because i never try with external hdd.

Mind to share where to get ThumbGen and what's the latest version?

I use that version too. Strange that even after I sucessfully installed Framework 3.5, I still have that error installing Thumbgen.

Added on June 23, 2010, 11:55 amCan use google to get it from Thumbgen website or WDTVLive website.

Initially Thumbgen Author used WDTV website as his base, but now he is supporting other Media players too like POHD.

Take note that thumbgen is just used for customising Templates by searching the Web for info/ratings and cover art on these movies and inserting them into your templates. It doesnt include organising and sorting your movies into different Categories and Genres like YAMJ.

You also need POHD new Beta FW which is able to preview the Cover Art and Movie Sheets.

i'm gonna give this thumbgen a go...sound very easy to use. gonna do it over the weekends....

Tried the latest version today and it work fine on xp...

tested everything works charmingly but to generate 1 moviesheet takes about 5 minutes or more because sometimes theres no nfo available so u need to search plus sometimes it use weird cover ! then u have to redo couple of thing like movie info etc

i spend 2 hours and only manage to do around 30++ file only.... i dont know when i can finish my 700 + collection....anyway i think this thumbgen apps and can make your pohd look better

Since I can't install Thumbgen , I am now using Tvixie instead.

Are you using YAMJ , or something like TVIXIE or THUMBGEN ? Got any sample for me to compare with ? . Which is the easiest to use?

He got all types Media player, AC Ryan pun ada, Dune 3 pun ada , Macam , macam ada.

Soulquarianz, Thanks or the link . Do you know of any large centralised database where can search and download pre-created movie sheets (Lazy to generate myself).

That one just a very simple default template. I haven't started playing with the features yet.

Seems like it has alot of technical problem and not user friendly that this workshop need to be held in order to get less complain from users who did not research well when buying POHD.
