1 40 min tvb can be 1.1 gb or 600mb (dunno how they compress this)....for me using HF....u need about 10 mins for 100mb (on 1mbps streamyx)...so 10*10 is 100 mins

For me, I dl those big title (eg. Born Rich, Rosy Business...etc) in 720p, others I dl normal rmvb, if every series dl in 720p, it would use up a lot of hdd spaces......undoubtedly I still prefer series in 720p

That means for you, if DL 20 episodes, will take less than 2days ? That's really fast.

that is if the series is completed. For current shows you'll have to be patient and wait for them to air it, like the viewer in HK.

yup but once aired in HK... 1 or 2 days can get dy....

Hi there, for you to manage YAMJ, we have created step by step on how to use YAMJ in POHD. Enjoy!

How to install YAMJ on you PC:

---------------------------------------------

1. Install Java http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp



2. Create a new folder on your PC, like “C:\YAMJ”



3. Download the new YAMJ from http://code.google.com/p/moviejukebox/downloads/list



(and here is the link to the last fix) http://mediaplayersite.com/yamj_latest



4. Extract YAMJ to the new created folder “C:\YAMJ”



5. Download MediaInfo from http://sourceforge.net/projects/mediainfo/files/binary/



. You need the CLI version of MediaInfo ( MediaInfo_CLI_*.zip)

. If you use the 32 bit version of Windows then use MediaINfo_CLI_x.x.x.x._Windows_i386.zip

. If you use the 64bit version of Windows then use MediaINfo_CLI_x.x.x.x._Windows_x64.zip

. If you use Mac OSX then use the MediaInfo_CLI_x.x.x_Mac_Universal.dmg

. If you use Linux then use the appropriate package for your distribution.



6. In the folder YAMJ you have to create a new sub folder called MediaInfo



7. Extract the MediaInfo.zip into this MediaInfo folder.



8. Download Yamj Gui here. http://www.acryan.com/downloads/YAMJ/yamj_...3_zip_54096.zip



9. Extract YAMJ GUI Tool in the YAMJ folder.



10. Start “YAMJ GUI Config (ACR) v0.93.exe”and select the “movie” folder on your Playon!HD and click on the save button.



. There will be created 2 files called “ACR_YAMJ.cmd” and “ACR_Library.xml”



11. Start “ACR_YAMJ.cmd” and now the “movie” folder on the Playon!HD will be scanned and indexed.







Install Playon!HD-YAMJ trial firmware :

1. Download the YAMJ Trial firmware

2. Extract the files to the root of a USB stick and connect it to the Playon!HD



3. Go on “Setup->System->System Update” and select “System Upgrade”



4. When the upgrade is finished go to “Setup->System->System Update” and select “Extension Package Upgrade”



5. When both successfully installed the Playon!HD is ready to use YAMJ.



6. Go to menu “Jukebox” and choose HDD.



7. Now choose “INTERNAL HDD” and now there will be searched for the just by ACR_YAMJ.cmd created index.htm file .



8. After about 5 sec the Playon!HD will find the index.htm file. Select this file and wait until YAMJ is loaded

( about one minute)



9. Select the picture of the movie and you will get more detailed information of the movie.

If you push the[enter] button on the remote, the movie starts playing.

YAMJ still in beta?

Hi all sifu, new user of mini reporting here~

I find that this is one of the best thread in the forum, especially with a serious and helpful representative from the distributor - BoxBuilder. I m not too sure about others HD media player forum or others brand media player thread in LYP, but I hardly see any distributor give support in others gadget forum i join before so far.

Bro BoxBuilder, keep on the hard work to help the community, i m sure many ppl appreciate your contribution.

Just got POHD with 1GB HD fr PC fair.. All movies run smoothly

question here ( i tried to search for the same question but mostly are related to streaming )
i have installed HDD internally and updated with latest FW, hdd also formatted by playon.
when i plugged in to my pc via USB, it shows partition1 and has no folder in it? , partition size ~1.35TB after formatted. (i bought 1.5T)

1. is everyone the same no folder created for internal hdd?
2. i tried to created folder movie, photo, music, but the problem is the browser (music tab) also can seen the movie folder, photo folder.. wasn't that LP PL?
3. the browser says u have 50 movies, but the screen is only show say 5 or 6 movie at 1 time.. meaning u have to scroll down many many time?
4. one more question, after the latest fw udpated and while formatting the internal hdd, it shows what samba, BTPD unicgi failed.. does it really matter? but hdd is formatted successfully.
