Everyone is buying POHD.
Is it the mini version is not good in term of PQ/AQ compare to its big bro??
How's the fan noise in the big POHD?? not too loud??

Still undecided between BIG vs MINI..

just ask him today..the price is RM420 but he can give me RM400.00+free hdmi cable...gonna buy it next month if the price still d same..
the price of hdd is quite cheap too

Shoudn't be any different in PQ/AQ when both using same chipset. The mini does not have a bay for Internal HD, no card reader, no fan and missing a few other items which has no bearing on the PQ or AQ.

it is delay till May. 2 reasons:
1. Change the new chipset 1283+
2. Change to the new design also.

ic-klass, my friend just bought the ACRyan PlayOn HD big version with the fan. Was at his place when he was setting it up and he too was curious to know if the fan would be noisy after reading some reviews on it. So we were testing the quality of some full HD 1080 video for about 30 mins and checked to see if the fan was noisy. We could hardly hear anything at all.

just a question fellas, would you guys recommend me to buy this media player? I dont own one at all, and i've read so many negative things uptil now, but in your opionion, those of you who already own one, would it be worth getting one now?

How deep is your pocket and how patient are you as new chipset is coming?
Hope this chipset able to address the current issues.

damnn really on dillema, WD live TV price about RM460 and this Ryan can get RM 550, the different is about RM100, WD live TV doesnt support RMVB,

i think the best thing, i should take Ryan coz, i got alot of RMVB movie and anime

POHD mini SRP is RM489.00, but they are selling around RM450.00.

For PQ, you really can't see the different in 60" LCD TV but yes for the projector project 120". But actual fact is: WD is not in this line but he want to step in. Not only WD, but Seagate, Apacer, D-Link, ASUS and etc also. They are not selling well because they do not know what consumers want. And media player is not their dependance product, so, for the support is less compare to others like POHD, Mede8er, TViX, Xtreamer which they will die if their products cannot sell.

Many reviews are saying WD Live is better than POHD in terms of PQ???

the official firmware of YAMJ still not ready for POHD?

Depends a lot on the pairing of the player and the TV. Both player got slightly diff colour and brightness/contrast schemes.

So if Realtek default settings happens to suit your TV better, you will say Realtek is better. If Sigma default suits another guy's TV better , then he will say Sigma is better.
