awesome shots, agree with u that facebook won't help since not many ppl will view them and facebook just suck up the quality of the photo

#2 if u change WB or hue maybe will look nice. or juz convert to b&w ;p

love every photo here. I wouldn't change anything on #2 either, changing hues is going to just affect colors, which is again preferential. more important is that you caught the lines.

if i were to pick, I'd have to pick the photo I think impacts the leads, and that would be the one of the Tower Bridge. (#3). It could actually look better with color.

it's too bad the 2nd street lamp and part of the grill on pic #6 were imperfect, but then again that actually makes the picture beautiful.

judging by the pics, all using 18-55 lens. IMO your photos are a fine example on why people should focus on taking better photos, not upgrading gears. great effort!

#6 is actually quite a dangerous area....the whole time i was there, alot of passer-bys advised me to be careful of robbers. it's so sad that an area with a nice view is so dangerous
btw, i'm actually using a tamron 18-270mm. but yea....i normally use the range between 18-55. too used to using my kit-lens back in msia.

i think the colored version nicer. it is preference though.

i was guessing based on EXIF - your shots were all within 18 - 55 range. based on your photos, even 18-55 can do it.

I love the picture of the tower bridge in colour. I love all of your pictures. You really captured the feel, the still peacefulness, in your photos.

yea...Broga hill...love that place. it is a hdr. i played a little with the curves and saturation after merging 3 shots of -1,0 and +1 ev.

I think you use the term "noob" WAY too liberally.

Composition-wise I like #2 and #6 a lot.

No 17 photo really great compo!

I feel like #17 and #18 can be better if the Sun at the angle of 1/3 of the left side. Sort of giving the meaning of the flower is having sun bath, instead of take the tree as background which cannot really bring up any idea (just from me >_<) However it is a great picture still. ^^

yea man iam studying in MMU currently, and walk to ASDA almost every other week to get groceries so i
recognized it almost instantly, id always wanted to take that shot too from where u were takin it, jst that
when ever i go there seems to be not enuf traffic to get a good dense light trails. what time did u take that pic. ?

i think it was about 5-6pm. during peak hours. word of advice, be careful if u want to take out any camera gear there. when i was there, 5 people kept on advising me to be careful after dark. haiz...i need to go there again but i'm scared for my gear. ahaha

i like 23 and 25. But i think you should at a higher shutter speed for the splashes pictures.

yea....i couldn't increase the speed any further since i was using the built on flash.

pictures are edited in lightroom and then uploaded. but normally i increase vibrance by a little and some other settings. but there are some of them that are straight out from the camera.

heheh....not exactly an upgrade. it's the main family camera. so i only get to use it while i'm back in malaysia.

i taped some aqua colored led christmas lights together. set my camera up using manual focus and settings and then left the shutter open for a long time while i move the lights up and down.

well u can try buy using any kind of light source. I have done one before without led christmas lights. i used a torchlight with the bulb exposed and kept on repeating the same process of light painting to create a similar effect to #79

u mean how to shoot sharp and clear night shots? just use a tripod, low iso and if possible use a remote shutter trigger or timer
