I own HK set, that time still no SG and MY set yet

its recommended to buy MY set, unless you stay near SG

buy MY set - rosak in 1 year time, can bring to sony and change.
If rosak after 1 year, can still bring into sony for service.

Buy SG set - cheaper by rm100-200, warranty everything need to be done in SG. after 1 year, servicing only can be done in game shop.

buying from sony style nets you a decent amount of sony points, which more than covers the savings you get if you buy SG or even MY sets from game shops.

yes. but you can only use the points for the next purchase, so get the ps3 set, pay, get points and then only buy that extra controller or hdmi cable.

not sure how much is the rebate %, but between my ps3, lcd tv, the missus' laptop etc... them points never seem to run out for me

If share media with Win7 PC, it's almost automatic. First you need to make sure the PS3 is on the same network as the PC. For me, my PS3 is on wired network to a 5-port switch on the rack which has a single cable connection to the 16-port switch where the PC is connected, and is on the same subnet as the PC, but I think you can also do it over Wifi. If done correctly the Win7 PC show up on the XMB. But it will not be accessible by default, you need to tell Win7 to allow the PS3 to access it.

On the Win7 PC, you must then go to Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> HomeGroup, and select "Choose media streaming options". select "All networks", and look out for the PS3's name (sometimes will show up as "Unknown Device"). Set that as well as "Media programs on this PC and remote connections..." to Allow and click OK. Then close the Control Panel window.

Now try to access the Win7 PC. If configured properly your libraries will appear, and within it your songs.

like ffrulz said, the dev optimised the game at said res... for our enjoyment too

if sony forced all dev to come out 1080p games, then we're all complaining stutter frame-rates with their current developments.... (like those in pc when gfx not so power enuf eg crysis)

one thing i hate those games developed well-below native 720p standard, blurred gfx... sigh then the dev blame ps3 not so power-enuf.. isk isk

we hope that next-gen console would make 1080p a minimum requirement for future games
