i want to re-confirm is it true that we cant use proxy service anymore to download psn games to pc then to ps3?

mine is phat ps3,im still holding on to my fw 3.15 don wan to loose my otheros (though im not using it, but kinda sick with sony move to remove it.well,gona hv to update too later,but not now with those current useless update).been using proxy server to connect to psn but since sony blocked it recently,so currently i cant connect to psn.my internet is slow, so just wanna get general idea whether if i can still dl psn game to pc then transfer to ps3 in case i bought game from psn in the future

still holding on bro,don wan to risk bricking up my phat ps3 just for lousy fw update from sony.many units die with each fw update.n sony has released 2x/permonth of update that actually degrading n a preparation for 3DTV when some of us still cannot afford a proper HDTV..so funny.but like i said,sooner or later i will hv to update too.im just waiting for better n real update.n when i do, i just wanna know whether this proxy dl thing can still be use:)
