well i do have a Logitech Chillstream (Black) USB, got i for ~RM65 on sale
It is recognized and works for most gamses (>90%), js some won't recognize it (e.g. GT5P)

^ it will ask to re-format when it recognize a diff PS3 by serial number, i think

interesting to see that the Official Slim in Indo, Thailand, Vietnam - same with MY is also from SGP model - 06
while Official Slim in Philippines is follow HK model - 12
kisau mode on : i guess us "small" game markets don't deserve our own model number
