Happened to me before.
Turned on the PS3, can see background wave but the menu wont show up. Restart the PS3 a lot times, if lucky, the menu will show up. It seemed the culprit was my faulty 500gb hdd. Change back to the stock 80gb. My PS3 returned to normal. This post has been edited by Vivato: Sep 8 2010, 09:10 PM |

I mean your problem could be hard disk drive problem.
Did you upgrade your hard disk to higher capacity? |
