Hmm im not sure this is the right place to ask.

My ps3 slim is connected to my pc monitor using hdmi > Dvi and it works. Yesterday out of sudden, no settings whatsoever was touch, the display not coming out already. I still can hear the sound and my controller still working (judgin by the sound)

The thing is, when i plug the ps3 into tv using RYB cable, it work properly with display and sound. Now im baffled, because im not sure its my cable faulty, monitor or ps3 hdmi port spoilt. Anyone can provide some advises?

I tried the 5s reset thingy btw, not working :-/

guys can advice me where should i put my ps3 slim? im planning to place it in my room since my room have one lcd monitor. i have no choice but only can place it in my room. but the big problem is my room is heading to balcony. dust always flow in and stick on my computer table and everywhere. should i close my balcony door when im going to turn it on? and after i use it can i cover the vents with some clean cloth or towels to prevent dust flow in? Thanks!

I want to use PS3 with my LCD monitor
My monitor is Acer G205H, it has both VGA and DVI-D(not DVI) ports
Although the monitor has built-in speakers, I would like to use my computer speakers instead, a SonicGear Morro 200
So the question is :
1. Is there any DVI-D to HDMI cables?
2. How to access to audio since DVI to HDMI cables doesn't support audio?
3. Where to get them around Subang Jaya?
4. The setup? Mind giving some briefing?

I've read the first page, but ran out of luck finding it around my area    
Also, the port for my monitor is DVI-D not the standard DVI ones(it'll be better if I used the DVI slot since the VGA slot is used by my computer), I've gotten a DVI-HDMI adapter and returned it since it doesn't fit.
So...help?    

How do I know my speaker/woofers are shielded?
