Hi guys, i'm new to this forum. I'm planning to get PS3 slim 250 gb. I have read this thread many times but i just can imagine how it's done (software installation, PSN, etc.) I have some guestions to ask to console expert here. Hope anyone can help me.

Q3: Can we play online games using the PSN? How?
Just create an account and plug in the LAN cable/wifi

Q4: How to update software?
Just connect to the internet using cable or wifi and choose update.

Currently having problems.
I accidentally soft reseted my PS3 to so it now inputs in SD.
However my monitor (Viewsonic VX 2260) only supports HDMI.
When I plugged it in, I can only hear my clicks(Sound is connected using RGY cable to a PC speaker) and my screen is blank.

What can I do to set it back?
I do not have a HD TV with me.
