Hi,  i have one question here.
I have a us/canada set of PS3 slim, and wondering what if i bring this ps3 back home, do i need a voltage converter?
There's a sticker under the ps3 saying that, 110v and 60hz. meaning, i need a converter to 240 v/ 50hz if i bring it back to Malaysia.
but then, i came across this website ( http://boardsus.playstation.com/t5/PlaySta...ge/m-p/26297139 ).
In the first page, it says that there's no need for any converter/transformers, as it's sort of built inside the ps3 itself.
but, since the post was dated back in 2007, this could be valid only for ps3 fat.

any of u guys brought home 110v ps3 slim back to malaysia?
Do u guys use any converter to operate the ps3 itself? thanks

actually, my ps3 is spoilt i tried to fix it myself but i couldn't i even showed it to some shops and they told me your ps3 can't be repaired

I heard that PS Home launched in Hong Kong and Singapore already. I have a Malaysian account. I tried to log in to PS Home, but got the error "This content is not available on your account". Is it available to Malaysian PSN account yet? anyone tried it?

Anyway, I'll just try to describe it.

I turn on the PS3, and nothing shows up. It's blank. I tried going into Recovery Menu, going through options 3 to 6, but no success. I then got a working PS3, swapped my HDD into it, and tried to reformat. It worked for the PS3. Then I swapped the HDD back into my PS3, and still, nothing shows up. Not even the option to reformat the HDD.
Please help!

Question regarding to DLC Sharing.

I bought a Marvel vs Capcom 2(MvC2) from a forumer here.
So at 1st I create a new PS3 user, and login into his PSN, and download both the game and the unlock key.
And after download, I switch back to my account to play.
No problem.

And then I deleted the temporary PS3 user as I've already done downloading the game.
And when I start playing, it became trail version back.

I found out the deleting the account cause the DLC hilang.

So is there anyway to delete the account and in the same time not losing the DLC?

i'm using the toshiba hdmi cable comes together with my hdmi dvd player with upscale capabilty to 1080p. mine is samsung 40inches series 5 full hd. but i see the graphic for gow3 so so only wor. like cartoon instead of real like 3D graphic.

mine is phat ps3,im still holding on to my fw 3.15 don wan to loose my otheros (though im not using it, but kinda sick with sony move to remove it.well,gona hv to update too later,but not now with those current useless update).been using proxy server to connect to psn but since sony blocked it recently,so currently i cant connect to psn.my internet is slow, so just wanna get general idea whether if i can still dl psn game to pc then transfer to ps3 in case i bought game from psn in the future
