Yes boss it'll work. Stock heat sink is a very basic cooler and is just nice for the card. The moment you overclock, the fans would be noisy and temps would be horrible. By using Xtreme Plus 2, it's not only silent but will give you great temps. My GTX 580 dropped more than 10C just by using it

Great cooler.. bought one from bro Alvin.. reference cooler idle at 48 - 52C now my card idles at 34C*
One word of advice for using G1 thermal glue, dont use it all at one go(squeeze half and half and mix), dont use it sparingly! use generous amount (apply to heatsink first and stick) if not ur heatsinks wont stick to vrms/rams. Other than that.. superb performance! |
