Should have two profile for the intake right? hmm.gif
*
Nope, DOHC 1 for intake 1 for exhaust
Revised GB ratios and rev till 7500rpm, not really race cams, more like fast road spec cams for street and track, not pure track

Maybe 272 intake, 288 exhaust

CPS got two intake cam profile (2 lobes actually), low lift lobes for low rpm and high lift lobes for high rpm (after 3.8k rpm). Exhaust, no secondary lobes.
*
Trilobe camshafts? But the cam profiles only have low lift and high lift
The extra compensation came from the VIM which uses the long runner at the low to mid, then change it to short runner at high rpms

thats why i said there should be 2 profile. Or maybe they just change the high lift profile only.
*
Yours is like this

Low revs (0-3800rpm)
CPS = low lift
VIM = long runner

Mid revs (3800rpm-4800rpm)
CPS = high lift
VIM = long runner

High revs (4800rpm onwards)
CPS = high lift
VIM = short runner

So basically its a low and high lift profiles only, just that your high lift profile activated at 3800rpm onwards

Satria Neo CPS activates it later at 4400rpm onwards

maybe we can get some details by looking at the power output graph? I believe they only make the changes on the high lift since paultan's website mentioned the 0-100 still takes approx 9.2secs which is quite same as our normal CPS right?

Added on March 31, 2010, 1:31 pm

more outstation claims? hehehe.....

Added on March 31, 2010, 1:37 pmi wonder why they dun put the large snorkel juz like the satria neo rally wide CF snorkel... tat will improve the overall suction...
*
The graph can be viewed at their website
They tuned it to be very linear powerband, and from 7000-7500rpm, max HP is maintained there

My reckoning is that, the car can do less than the reported 9.2 seconds stated on paper plus the car comes with a revised final drive ratio

My last dyno already got 140hp on engine. Maybe the other 5hp is from the camshaft. Anyway, the one I interested is the flat torque curve till 6.5k rpm..  drool.gif

Best part of the graph is at the high end
6k onwards till 7.5k, flat XD

0-100km/h alone doesn't justify a car performance.

I think the interior suits the car purpose, very straight forward without any fancy goodies.

Standard Neo chassis is already good enough. nod.gif
*
For straight line performance, quarter mile is the best smile.gif

I don't mind the Nappa leather seats but at least have a better racing steering wheel than using the stock Neo steering

how they do that hmm.gif ....i've never seen power curve like that, normally it will reach peak power and then drop back....6.3k rpm till 7.5k, thats a lot....
*
Magic in the tuning haha
I wonder if I can make my 4G92 to have that kind of curve smile.gif

50 not thick??

muzas: The current graph is good enough already, I am just curious on the camshafts profile they are using it for the Neo. Since there is nothing done to the head itself apart from the cams

I am good at manual but the problem is i hate on slope roads when your car easily go backwards while auto will actually move forward a bit even you released hand brakes and foot bbrake

That is where you need to balance both of your feet

Yeah.. I mean the spare tank cover. If still notice leaking, check the hose under the radiator.
The reserve sensor in proton now is really fragile.. Easily spoiled and unreliable.
Wow.. V-power raise up to RM2.48 per litre man. Just pump last friday for outstation.. Poket kering man.  sweat.gif
