QUOTE(shinjite @ Apr 21 2010, 05:02 PM) but it had limited usage.. Not really like e-manage, haltech or motec. But the price is more higher than e-manage.. I had a friend installed a e-manage on his satria neo cps, dyno showed added 20hp. |

QUOTE(fazron80 @ Apr 21 2010, 10:23 PM) Which shop is that? And roughly how much need to spend for the piggyback? If can add 20hp I also want one hehe My friend shop. Hehe... If complete everything for piggyback, need estimated around RM1.8k. Add 20hp is possible with other mod. If only for e-manage, then can get around 10hp.. Is possible to get 20hp on stock engine but you will kill ur engine faster. I just remember my college last time, they push till limit for a waja sohc, it gain 25hp improvement. Not joke or bullshiting. Is true.. Can have more hp than even lotus neo cps QUOTE(mrl @ Apr 21 2010, 10:38 PM) wow... piggyback can already give 20hp boost??? means, 145bhp??? same as Neo R3 LR already!!! sure or not? or he got other mods installed along?? If in my friend case, he did some mod. QUOTE(sphiroth @ Apr 22 2010, 09:44 AM) If only adding piggyback alone, 20hp is quite high indeed. Maybe the FC will suffer. Or the dyno 'cheats'. Actually will not really suffer the fc but the engine is suffering. Most of them saying that to make the car more powerful, you need to make the fuel larger. But in other way, more air give more power. As we need 1:14.7 (petrol : air). That why most of the car I see on the dyno chart and setting, all show lean mixture. if the fuel is too much, then will create un-burn gases and cause alot of carbon. while if the car is lean, then it will suffer overheating faster. if the fuel mixture is higher, it will created cooling during combustion. For engine combustion, it need specific temperature to achieve a powerful combustion. Stock car is factory set is slighter rich in fuel as they need to protect the engine.Correct me if I'm wrong. Let discuss this if feel is interesting topic. The jerking only happens when in 2nd and 3rd gear, while revving up, sumtimes in constant speed while in 3rd gear... There's no jerking while cruising or when the rpm is above 4500rpm... QUOTE(sphiroth @ Apr 22 2010, 04:49 PM) For my case, exhaust full set (ayam)+LCP+K&N drop in+SAFC=20bhp (on engine) Haha.. ur case cannot 20bhp la.. Let poison u abit.. CPS manual with racing clutch is awesome. Anyway, piggyback is more to 'fine tune' rather than performance increase. P/S: E-manage + Touch Infometer = touch infometer similar to afc neo right? QUOTE(sphiroth @ Apr 24 2010, 11:02 AM) Just installed a pair of adjustable cam pulley last Thursday. The improvement is very noticeable during 3k to 5k rpm. Even my friend who usually ride in my car also ask me why my car felt lighter, thus ruling out placebo effect. What brand you use? Hehe... Poison.. But i got a friend which install adjustable cam pulley, the pulley crack. ![]() |

QUOTE(ezwann @ Apr 25 2010, 11:37 AM) Do you guys know that we can claim alignment and balancing? It need to be done before 900km mileage and not at 1000km first service...my friend to me this since she's trying to claim the alignment and balancing at first 1k service. She's driving proton persona. Go hardware shop, buy 0 gauge copper wire.. One install at compressor, another to alternator. Already so enough. Anyone ever bought RM30 HKS grounding cable??? QUOTE(sphiroth @ Apr 25 2010, 01:48 PM) Prepare for a long wait if walk-in. Especially on weekends. Not really.. For new waja cps and gen 2 cps, there is lack of ground due to the wire qualiy.. It good to installed two ground one to compressor and another to alternator. I don't think can claim alignment/balancing. IMO, grounding cable is not necessary for new car. QUOTE(ThienWu @ Apr 25 2010, 02:50 PM) Anyone service their air cond???? mine just reach 30k.. want to service air cond but the SC qoute RM 350... If your car is new and air cond no problem, i suggest you dun service your air cond. Air cond gas wont decrease except there is a leakage. Cause factory air cond gas is 100% pure R134a gas. If we service, we can't give back 100% pure R134a gases as the cost is so so so expensive. Outside they will only use 70% gases 30% oxygen or 50 50. So we cannot get the optimum cool. |

QUOTE(fazron80 @ Apr 25 2010, 10:51 PM) Bad workshop would take perfectly working coil to the back senyap2x and damage it. Had the experience when servicing my dad's iswara 10 years ago. Was young and inexperience then. I would agree with the advice if the a/c is working fine no need to do anything with it. The sc i went to said the filter no need to change just clean and install back. if can pass that slope, u sure pass hill test. that not normal slope. Around 75 degree..Added on April 25, 2010, 10:56 pm maybe this slope is good exercise for people going for the license test. You know the test of not stalling and climb the steep hill after completely stop in middle of slope. |

QUOTE(kobe10 @ Apr 26 2010, 07:21 PM) Now your turn busy finding rims.Hahaha... I just change my brake pad to Ferodo.. The mechanic tell me, exp brake pad is dirty one. Unless you use those ciplak one then no dust.. I stone there for few second, nvm la tukar je la.Hahahhaa... Next add, UR bars.. haheeheheh I don't agree with this. Expensive brake pad won't produce more dust. Have you heard about akebono, and sumitomo? This two brand is expensive around RM500+ for a pair of brake pad for waja. It dustless and the grip is awesome. Or can you see those brembo brake pad is dirty? Expensive brake pad have more fine material and not easily wear. You try get a bosch or mintye brake pad, you just scratch with your thumb and you can see what the different with those expensive. Comparing the normal 1 like proton part, bosch or mintye, mostly you can see alot of dust. recently i get a pair of ceramic brake pad from supplier as testing. It was ceramic 500 degree high performance brake pad. So far nothing complain with this and it more grip, dustless and soundless... And the price is cheap too.... |
