COE actually is just in Subang USJ area. You guys know where is Faber Castel factory?the one with the largest pencil record. Thats the landmark. Or you can start going from Summit.. its easy and near. But comfirm need damn long hours. Hahaha.. because they do it nicenice one

Dear all proton owners(with manual transmission only),

Which type of gear oil do you prefer when its time to change it as below:

- Original Proton "M/T OIL HQ MULTI 75W-85" gear oil, RM 27.67 per liter

OR

- those normal "80W-90" gear oil supplied by oil companies ie: petronas, caltex, shell......., RM9.00 per liter

it will need 3 liters of gear oil when changing.

The first type will let you have a smoother/easier gear change and the normal type is still good for your car but it may be a bit harder for gear change during cold only. (because it is a thicker oil and it won't damage your gearbox)

yes, for manual better we change gear box oil on 1st service. For auto, if not mistaken 2nd or 3rd service.

Yes, SC charged me 162. Engine oil Shell Semi 99. Gear Box oil Shell 2.1L 39.90. Oil filter around 12 or 14 i think. n other some small things like screen washer, oil filter nut gasket...all total up around 162.

SO its confirmed our standard waja cps installed with immobilizer 

if i'm not mistaken, my auto tranny got fluid change at major service only... it's according the service booklet... but i might be wrong... need to recheck my service record again... hehe...

last night watched a program about building corvette c6 on discovery turbo..
what attract me are they have a team only for looking squeaking and rattling sound..
and also a team to measure any gap and joint in the car.. 
i wonder if proton also have these kind of teams..

Anyway, I kinda have a feeling that the ECU is the culprit in limiting CPS performance since the engine need to comply with euro standard.

But rather than 32 bit ECU, better go for standalone such as Haltech. More tuning option and can cater for turbo upgrade.

Which piggyback?

The only problem with group dyno is it will take a long time. Most of it goes to get the car strap and prepared for dyno. The workshop must also have decent amount of parking space.

Last saturday...on the way to work place...I involve in an accident...lost control at corner..maybe because of the wet tyre and road condition...Im feel very sad because the car only 11 month. My fren said the car condition will be different after an accident...do u think this accident gave bad impact to car chasis..need opinion..
