QUOTE(jiaerl @ Apr 11 2010, 03:05 PM) Dear all proton owners(with manual transmission only), What car you driving? Waja cps? Gen 2 cps? or satria neo cps?Which type of gear oil do you prefer when its time to change it as below: - Original Proton "M/T OIL HQ MULTI 75W-85" gear oil, RM 27.67 per liter OR - those normal "80W-90" gear oil supplied by oil companies ie: petronas, caltex, shell......., RM9.00 per liter it will need 3 liters of gear oil when changing. The first type will let you have a smoother/easier gear change and the normal type is still good for your car but it may be a bit harder for gear change during cold only. (because it is a thicker oil and it won't damage your gearbox) Thank you very much. |

Waja cps all is equipped with immobilizer.Yes, SC charged me 162. Engine oil Shell Semi 99. Gear Box oil Shell 2.1L 39.90. Oil filter around 12 or 14 i think. n other some small things like screen washer, oil filter nut gasket...all total up around 162. SO its confirmed our standard waja cps installed with immobilizer |

Hard to feel cps is kick in as it not so power like vtec. But you can only feel after over that rpm range, it will getting more smooth and power.

QUOTE(pAdiLaDEn @ Apr 16 2010, 10:50 AM) last night watched a program about building corvette c6 on discovery turbo.. I dare to said not only proton, even none of car manufacturer in malaysia have this. Hahah...what attract me are they have a team only for looking squeaking and rattling sound.. and also a team to measure any gap and joint in the car.. i wonder if proton also have these kind of teams.. QUOTE(boyzone @ Apr 16 2010, 10:55 AM) Actually it no use... Our engine vacuum the air into the combustion chamber is already swirl type. When in high speed, there no more swirl air entering the combustion chamber. |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Apr 16 2010, 03:56 PM) Anyway, I kinda have a feeling that the ECU is the culprit in limiting CPS performance since the engine need to comply with euro standard. yeah... i agree.. That why i'm going to have a piggyback. But rather than 32 bit ECU, better go for standalone such as Haltech. More tuning option and can cater for turbo upgrade. The R3 neo cps cpu can't be use on waja... Unless change the whole system into waja. |

QUOTE(ezwann @ Apr 19 2010, 08:28 PM) lighten flywheel will improve pick up.. But you will sacrifice mid torque and top speed. I lighten my flywheel last time but it on my 1.6 saga. Pick up improve alot but top speed is drop.. End up change to super touring, the power is balance and top speed increase. For cps, we dun need lighten flywheel or else, it very hard to achieve top speed. |
