QUOTE(sphiroth @ Mar 31 2010, 08:44 AM) CPS got two intake cam profile (2 lobes actually), low lift lobes for low rpm and high lift lobes for high rpm (after 3.8k rpm). Exhaust, no secondary lobes. Yeah... 2 lobes.. 1 lobe for low lift and 2 lobe for high lift.Once the R3 cps is out, I will use the system and tune my waja cps. See how it work. But as I know, it using high cam for the camshaft. |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Mar 31 2010, 06:02 PM) Do update the result. But the main culprit is the ecu. Unless we got a piggyback. But cps can get 145hp, that mean our cps only can go nearly 145bhp. I believe is we install highcam, adjustable pulley and crank pulley, we can get around 140hp. But with high cam, need to sacrifice the comfort as the engine is more rough. But i believe this satria neo R3 cps is slightly overprice. the price can get a recon evo 7. |

QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ Apr 4 2010, 12:46 AM) Don't la so ah beng. QUOTE(alexscm @ Apr 4 2010, 12:53 AM) Hey guys, today only I notice one thing. In cps meter, they still alot unused symbol like TC, SeatBelt, and so on. It will never light up. It might be a features that proton want to add on the car but failed to do so. I heard it because they make it just for export model but failed to bring into the market. At UK or US, they didn't bring in proton Impian CPS.If you don't put on your seat belts, will there be any warning lights in the meter? I notice there is a symbol of it at the bottom of the meter but it never lights up. |

QUOTE(mrl @ Apr 4 2010, 01:37 PM) i thought those light is for export units right??? i didn't know about their failure to being them to export... cps never gone to uk eh??? or is it only impian??? They no waja cps in uk. Only gen 2 cps and exora. anyway, it's probably to standardize the production... build one for all is a lot cheaper... haha... in uk and some other countries rear fog lamp, seatbelt warning lights is compulsory... i wish we have that too so we say "look, my proton is not a cheapo"... hahaha... but now if we add it, it'll be "look, my proton is so ah beng" |

Doesn't have any wire connected to the seatbelt connector. For the coolant, check either the cover being close properly and got rubber on the cap or not.Just got my Waja CPS (M) on Mar 22. After waited for 1 month. I got only discount 2K for the year 2010 manufacture. only 20 kilometre So far the ride, i can tell good Only some of the "Biasalah" issue with Proton. 1) Reverse sensor not working. But funny, when I put reverse gear, the sensor will make beep sound once, but when reverse no sensor 2) Like mention earlier on this forum, small stupid light not light up. Seat belt. 3) After long ride... I can noticed my CPS coolant dripped on the floor. not so much, but few drops (green). After some checking found out its dripping from the spare tank. And noticed it’s NOT dripping from the host, but from the cover. Anyone have same issue? pls advise. Thanks all.. I can tell this forum very help full for newbie like me |

QUOTE(botaking123 @ Apr 5 2010, 02:32 PM) SengChai & RYDECK..thanks for your input. Thats fast !!!. Yeah.. I mean the spare tank cover. If still notice leaking, check the hose under the radiator. For the coolant cover. I'll check it out tonight, see whether got that rubber not and will make it tighter. But this cap is for the spare tank. For the reverse sensor...I've tried get my son to walk from back of car (around more than 5 feet) untill he touch the bumper..no help n no sound. Even some more he go n touch d sensor (both site) still no sound. The reserve sensor in proton now is really fragile.. Easily spoiled and unreliable. QUOTE(sphiroth @ Apr 5 2010, 05:02 PM) Wow.. QUOTE(fazron80 @ Apr 6 2010, 10:42 AM) no lar. I know matrix is hyundai so korean. What I meant was a lot of people thinks japanese cars are an upgrade of their wiras, iswaras sagas etc. That's why they choose vios and so on. But the thing is waja, persona or gen2 nowadays are quite decent compared to entry level japanese cars. They thought wajas gen2 and all newer protons are the same as their previous wiras. Actually with persona, waja, or gen 2, we still upgrade it to japanese cars (mitsubishi) as those both car I mentioned, the frame chasis is from mitsubishi while the suspension is modified from mitsubishi too. (evo 4 or S40). If compare persona, gen2, and waja with wira, I prefer wira sedan handling. Hehe.. QUOTE(sphiroth @ Apr 6 2010, 10:48 AM) Yeah... But I had terrible experience with honda and nissan. My house honda civic FD 2.0 create problem on suspension same as nissan sentra N16. While so far problem free is Nissan Latio 1.8 impul. Hehe. QUOTE(fazron80 @ Apr 6 2010, 11:01 AM) My real bad experience with Proton was the handbrake totally came of. While driving. Totally bash Proton that time In spite of that still buy Proton I had a customer which kinda rich and old. He owned a saga BLM, gen 2, 3 waja (1.6 sohc, 1.8 and cps) and 2 perdana V6 ( trouble me every 6 months when servicing his car "satu siap satu mari". I asked him before "why you so rich and you don't sell all the proton car and get some European or continental car?" He just answer me that if I drive those car like BMW or Merc, one time I sent to service, the money I can service all my 7 proton cars. I just like QUOTE(R.Y.D.E.C.K @ Apr 6 2010, 11:13 AM) If i got more income, I will try a other japanese car. QUOTE(mrl @ Apr 6 2010, 02:55 PM) haha... moaning for more..... i'm not gonna give it... yeah, the grip is not so good already... still remember those days when I first get the car... braking hard never got the ABS activated... but nowadays, it seems the ABS is activated almost once a month.... means the rubber grip is so-so already... Don't get 17inch. Just get 16inch enough. Is just suit for performance and comfort. 17inch on waja, it really too much. started surveying for new rubbers, but seems to be quite hard to get a good grip rubber with stock size... this poisons me to get 17inch wheel... QUOTE(jolipoli81 @ Apr 6 2010, 04:29 PM) I using S-drive now and i go from KL-Ipoh, I never lower down my speed when corner. QUOTE(ahpaul82 @ Apr 6 2010, 08:51 PM) Master spoken. Haha. Because i tot the lock nut also can't prevent the thief open it cause I see a WHEEL NUT HACKER being sell on the market. But today I just got get a bull lock nut. hehe. but i love to see you reply to those ppls in another thread outside house only also dare to steal your RIM huh? since you changed RIM already, i thought you change the RIM nuts as well? Master spoken x 2 QUOTE(mrl @ Apr 6 2010, 10:28 PM) judging from my driving style, i did dive into corner faster than everyone else... so, i guess i'll remove it from my list Sorry... But in gen 2, it more worst for 17inch. I dare to say that your lower arm can't be long lasting. Furthermore, if you use 17inch you will facing of skid problem when your car go into water.. I drive my customer car from stock rim to 18inch rim, the best size is 16inch. For 17 and 18inch, I purposely test for wet. If the side got flood abit of water, the car totally skid to that water side. Maybe some blame the tyre and the car with 17inch I test is with GoodYear Eagle F-1. If you said for performance, the momentum make the car heavy goes as well as the tyre get wider..again, i drive a gen2.... not waja... and I dont really care about comfort... haha... i think Gen2 isn't very good in comfort section anyway to begin with though it's not bad... |

QUOTE(boyzone @ Apr 8 2010, 12:11 PM) Guys, Try call the SC to bleeding the clutch pump... After the 1st service and clutch free play adjusting.. I still feel that CPS clutch is quite hard to press. Any good solution to advise ? QUOTE(botaking123 @ Apr 8 2010, 01:45 PM) Just finished my 1st service @ 920KM. Have you facing the 2.8k dashboard rattling sound??Engine oil - Shell 10-40 Oil Filter Gear box oil - Shell Complaints rectified - Reverse sensor - How good PROTON QC... actually reverse sensor fitted insdie the boot.... But PROTON ppl forgot to plug the sensor cable into the gadget - Coolant overflow after long ride - SC did some bleeding and fill up again. They get me to monitor back. So far so good. After 1st service, notice my WAJA CPS gear change smooth now. Earlier harder little bit. Good news for owner which fed up with the drive-by-wire pedal lag.. It already had a device controller for campro and campro cps.. Get it at EA autoworks. http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1382818&hl= |
