Without Key Players
QUOTE Alex Song, Andrey Arshavin, William Gallas, Manuel Almunia and Eduardo have not made the trip to Portugal. Long-term absentees Robin Van Persie, Kieran Gibbs and Johan Djourou are also absent but Carlos Vela returns from a knee injury. Arsenal squad: Lukasz Fabianski Vito Mannone Nicklas Bendtner Carlos Vela Theo Walcott Samir Nasri Denilson Aaron Ramsey Tomas Rosicky Abou Diaby Cesc Fabregas Gael Clichy Thomas Vermaelen Emmanuel Eboue Mikael Silvestre Sol Campbell Armand Traore Bacary Sagna I have no confident in Fabianski but I have faith in Mannone. I think Gallas and Vermaelen should be rested but heck. Porto should not be underestimated |

Save energy for this weekend. I see the top 2 dropping points to concentrate their ecl. Bring Porto back to emirates and we will get through

As i said earlier. I have lost faith in Fabianski. No matter how well he perform, he will never impressed me again. The first goal was a basic goalkeeper skill while the second goal was the refree's fault but it could be saved.
Players like this should be sell or release. Fed up but happy with Sol. Welcome back Sol Added on February 18, 2010, 10:09 am QUOTE(CrOmer @ Feb 18 2010, 10:05 AM) I thought our keeper coach is Seaman. I read some article some time ago saying Seaman coached our keepers.Keown is our defender coach This post has been edited by ivanau88: Feb 18 2010, 10:09 AM |

QUOTE(toshio14 @ Feb 19 2010, 06:40 PM) i never thought Samir performed well enough to justify his price tag for the 1 season and a half he'd been with us so far. he's certainly is 1 of the main reason for our toothless attack for these past gloomy months we have for our striking department +1. I always rate him as average. Don't understand why you guys rated him so high. It is so obvious that he played outside the position |

As i said, the tops will drop points as i expected. Anyway, good win and we are now 2 points behind man utd and 6 points behind chelsea. I predict if we win the title, we will win by a very small margin. Cesc and Verm need to be rested but can we afford that?

I just cannot hold my tears. What is bloody important about the 3 points. I rather to have a draw than having Ramsey injured.
Point lost can be chase but broken leg will never be the same even after he recover. He was playing so so good even better than Denilson. But he is only a 19 yo kid. What is more important than his career. Not sure he is gonna be a big player in the future but he is just a kid. Shawcross should be ban from football. The refree wasn't decisive. He angered the crowd by siding us in the 1st half. then did not award us the penalty before the incident. Just when we discussed about Ramsey taking over Cesc few weeks back. I just cannot believe this kinda will happen again |

Despite the incident, I am very satisfy with Campbell. He commanded the defense line so well. But with the attack. Not good. Nasri is basically doing nothing but hold some possesion.Cesc wasn't in his best. Walcott looked lost and well marked. Rosciky is coming back to his best
Recover soon Ramsey |

It was a replica performance at the st Andrews after the incident until Cesc got the penalty. The team looks dull. Cesc Clichy Vermy and Nasri shocked.
First was Diaby, then Eduardo now Ramsey. What is this? A curse? This post has been edited by ivanau88: Feb 28 2010, 04:39 AM |

What concern us is the morale of the team. Porto is coming ahead and we need a win. After seeing how distraught they are, I guess they need time to accept it.

QUOTE(bobotorix @ Mar 1 2010, 05:26 PM) delap should have shut his f***ing mouth up. no need to elaborate about referee decision. "respect" campaign i guess If he was in the pitch I would be happier. Let the gunners to break his leg. It was so obvious. I don't think FA gonna do something on it.Delap Comment later people brake his hand then only he knows He got selected into England squad just hours after his sent off. Obviously he got FA as backup. Do you think the team still dare to train with him if we get him |

QUOTE(sakaito @ Mar 4 2010, 10:20 PM) did anyone see this? awesome stuff from Carlos Vela. Really hoping he'll come thru for Arsenal. I wonder why Vela always cannot perform in the club but in his country. EPL too physical i guess.http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/4941097/ watch at 1minute 25sec into the highlight. loved the way he push the defender away, then nutmeg another and finishing just sublime. theo out of WC squad? good for him. |
