I've said it all along, there are 20 teams in the league. Taking away the top 4, there's maximum 96 points left on the table. Tell me that's not good enough to win any season. A league winning run is based on consistency to maintain a high level of performance week in week out. Sure, the loss to the top 2 hurts but it's those draws and losses against smaller teams that have hurt us the most in the past.

And, actually we didnt win at Stoke, just a breath of luck, due to last min penalty..save the blushes..we havent win anything yet.

3 incidents in the last 3 years... 1) he broke jeffers ankle. 2) he tackle adebayor off the pitch resulting in twisted ankle, keeping ade out for 3 weeks and 3) u seen it last weekend with ramsey.

enough said.. the evidences speak for themselves.

Wenger's prudence has kept us floating thus far, but one day when all the debts are cleared, the questions will be:
1. Will he continue to be prudent, looking for bargain signings at the corners of the globe, instead of looking closer to home? and,
2. Will he continue with his youth approach, being patient and letting the youngsters room to improve while putting the challenge for trophies at risk (like Denilson, Song and Diaby - of which two of them came good..)?

We all know his philosophies, but when there's no more excuse to turn to, will failure be tolerated? 

Let's say, for the sake of detaching this barren run with my question, we win 1-2 Carling Cups from now until that day when the debts are cleared. After that, do you think his current approach can bring about sustained success?

...I also hope that he can do well but personally I believe he is behind the "schedule".
