all of a sudden we're back in the title race again... albeit being very far from the leading pack. but you know what, how many times this season have we thought that everything is lost and gone, then suddenly all our rivals falter? this week chelsea and spurs lost, man utd drew. i'm sure you can at least remember at least 2 more occasions like this.

if we have this same events again in the next week of football, we're surely back in the game. terry's form is torrid, i cant believe the manner in which saha scored. wth was terry thinking? n then cole getting injured hahaha it gets better n better doesnt it? now there's a case in the back for england. terry and ferdinand not up to full fitness, cole out, bridge and terry potential rife, no real quality GK... hoo glad i'm not an england supporter.

all this talk of fab leaving... i guess we're consigned to it eh? well honestly if he does go to barca, i have nothing to hold against him. he needs to play at the highest level.

if fab leaves, i have a feeling a certain russian will follow suit too.

interesting, man utd fell meekly. if that's how they are gonna do in the league, their victory against us will mean nothing come the end of the season. as it stands, we are back in the race. drogba was blistering today, if it had not been for the 'Arsenal Slayer' they might've lost 2 points, and then we'll REALLY be back in contention

wow.... that is seriously graphic... no wonder vermaelen look horrified. good thing he scored. good win for us,, but not in the best manner. glad with our persistence to win even after that horrifying challenge, awesome mental strength. good 3 points taken.

yea sol went ballistic. so did fabregas. who wouldn't, if i were on the pitch i'd probably be like them as well. Campbell looked like he was gonna pummel shawcross to pieces. shawcross tried to apologize to ramsey but bendtner sort of pushed him away. with the anger of ramsey's incident i'd say bendtner did a good job of restraining himself from kicking shawcross.

^ true... it's always fun pawning ppl on PES or FIFA who apparently are not aware of that rule.

and yeah, i absolutely love Sol today, he looked like his invincible days. and did anyone see his reaction when he saw ramsey's leg? i wouldn't be anywhere near 2 meter-radius of him, he looked like he was gonna pull someone's leg off. fabregas went ballistic too, i commend these guys for keeping their hands off the opponent. be a thug or a normal person, you just don't play it nice when you see someone breaking your friends leg like that.

there's the saying that arsenal players have glass bones, but rather than that, any glass would break if it's being constantly hit around hard. i dont like playing the nationality card, but honestly if the broken leg was rooney's, shawcross will be getting the eduardo treatment.

i thought it was fabulous that vermaelen scored. he looked absolutely horrified, like he just saw a ghost. that goal would at least regain him his mental strength. if he fumbled and made a mistake after the ramsey injury it would do hell to his confidence.

and again, Sol Campbell, welcome back to the team. Arsene Wenger pulled a miracle signing, i did not see where campbell would fit into play for this season's race to the title, but now it's more evident than ever. hope is restored, we're back in the title race. for real.

for all i care, he should prove himself in arsenal games before even thinking about getting on the england bench. i was surprised when i saw him on the highlights and was honestly hoping for the best for the lad. but when i saw SWP terrorizing, seriously i thought walcott no way you could start again with that kind of a contender. not to mention a healthy aaron lennon.

concentrate on arsenal first is the thing i'd say to him. the whole of england wants to see him blossom no more than the arsenal fans all around the world.

if they realize their potential, i believe Vela and Walcott could be our next Pires and Ljungberg.

QUOTE(IcyDarling @ Mar 5 2010, 04:44 PM)
now to be fair, Shawcross did have his bad side in this tackle.

1. He's young. Obviously he cant lunge in his tackles well.
2. No one expect any tackle to break any leg
3. Shawcross is probably terrified by the tackle. Try to take note of him. I'm thinking he's never putting up a tackle ever in his football-ing career again.
Lets just get over with this matter shall we? The media is so wide across, you can't stop them from putting up these articles. And surely all these rants about media siding Ryan Shawcross aint gonna reach the medias.
*
2. yes, because a tackle is NOT SUPPOSED to break a leg. when a tackle does break a leg, what does it tell you about the nature of the tackle? also the point has been made a lot of times, the tackle was reckless. okay it might not be violent because about that, only he knows. putting that aside, recklessness is the only thing to point at. and he's guilty of it. coming in to a challenge with that kind of speed and force is bound to injure someone intentionally or not.

3. HAH, you're ready to eat your words? watch the Stoke game next. i am pretty sure the commentators will say it too; the poor lad looks terrified to tackle now after the ramsey injury, what a shame on such a bright english talent. bull. the next 10 minutes there he goes on a crunching tackle again. and the commentary goes "it's always good to see a bright talent regain his confidence". bull.

and i wont even bother to comment on your first point.

what's good is we're on attack mode absolutely. someone needs to produce some magic touches to convert these to goals.

at least bendtner is trying hard to redeem himself haha, look at him being selfish there. but good try, he managed to get a shot on goal. i still like this guy's belief in himself. but seriously, bury one in!
