vermaelan was horrified, so does other players. They looked at him and disbelief this could happen.
Even that stoke guy that tackled him knows how serious it is. He was crying his way out. If it's a freak accident then i'd reserve my pity to him, but if he did it just to get him stopped/ his leg, then i wish this guy banned from football forever |

I was wondering why ref hesitated 2 clear penalty claim
1st, was 2 stoke def tussle with (forgot whom) in the box and pushed him down 2nd, Bentner got pushed (and no body is around blocking ref's view!) in penalty box after 90 mins |

I hope after this incident the league can do something about this. Harsher punishment should be implied in football. Either the club pay penalty for full wages + medical treatment for several years or something better. Saying 'sorry' and fining $10000 with 4 month ban is nothing and definitely won't stop someone from deliberately breaking others leg.
Btw, Eboue was having a great game, and shook his head on his way out. Obviously he wants more time of his game |

QUOTE(hakimix @ Feb 28 2010, 04:02 AM) i think this punishment is considerable. At least it's not too extreme eg. banned from football (he got a family to feed too)but of course, the club should also be punished severely so ensure better control of their player next time. Monetary and some severe sanction should be enough to scare them not to do it again |

thx to that walrus looking sam allardyce comment (Breaking Arsenal's leg is the way to play with them) Now every other team is trying to break Arsenal's play by pushing them around and harassing them with dangerous tackles.
We've yet to see FA comment on this game and injury. I personally think they'll divert all the attention to Man Utd's win and let this case be forgotten. Request for better protection? Nah! Until Ferguson requested to the FA himself and asks for better protection, i think it won't happen otherwise. |

any chance wenger will put rosicky in the middle?? since his natural position is cm
nasri can play on the wing though, with arshavin on the opposite flank Added on March 9, 2010, 2:27 pmoh yea btw... " Chris Waddle? I heard what he said, but I don't listen to people on the outside of football. I listen to those around me - the boss, Mr Capello and my family. Maybe if I keep performing like that it will shut people up. " quoted from arse blog This post has been edited by Frostymocha: Mar 9 2010, 02:27 PM |
