QUOTE(Tong_tong @ Mar 3 2010, 01:50 AM) Sad to your Forte, must be very heartpain now....like a scratch in heart....new car somemore Mind to share WHAT kind of tape you use to clean the leftover tape?I like to share how I DIY change the emblem: Before start, I got refer to the PDF file by Bro 4te, but soon to find out the floss is so weak and is easily broken. (Perhap the floss used by bro 4te is super-alloy reinforced? I even tried fish thread, metal thread, ALL broken, just a matter of time.... The double sticker is so strong, like it would hold the emblem without losen for more than 10 years! Finally I tried using small blade Then it's comes to hard part, the removal of the leftover tape... First I use screwdriver to clean, then it makes a deep scratch on the front plastic emblem housing Later I use a kind of Tape remover and it's easier to do the job... P/s: I found out the back emblem is slightly smaller than NAZA 's one...making it looks not so fit into the housing |

QUOTE(alienoid1982 @ Mar 3 2010, 04:39 PM) don wait .. goto do alignment 1st ... NAZA service center really suck! just called to SC in JB to make appointment for wheel alighment after collect my car. But they said can't cos they work halfday only. Come on! Just doing alighment also can't finish within half day? otherwise after 2k km then no more FOC ... somemore it may take 1 to 2 time to get the best alignment .. So mean every time when wan to service have to apply leave? If i go to autorised SC also can get free alighment rite? |

Today finally got my long wait Forte SX titanium silver, bro titarium pls update my detail in the front page
ylchew77 - titanuim silver, JB After collected my car, go to the nearest petrol station (Esso)pump RM50 for petrol and the cluster show 320 distance to empty After that go and check the Tyre pressure. Guess wat! the tyre pressure is more than 40 psi! So i adjusted the tyre pressure to suitable psi. After that start my engine break in process. I drove different speed and try not to maintain same speed for long time as per the manual book. Initially i drove from 60 ~ 80 km/h Then i drove to NSHW and speed between 90 ~ 140km/h. The car is very stable and the FC is around 8.3 l/100km. I even tested speed at 160 km/h and i believe the car can still go on but i didn't tried cos i reached my home town hv to exit from the highway. cheers! |

QUOTE(Beatmasta @ Mar 6 2010, 11:20 PM) Grats bro, to get ur forte today...tht makes two of us for today ha ha, i've change the Naza emblem to K emblem this afternoon. The front one quite easy to take out. Only the back one is more difficult to take out. End up i spoiled the Naza emblem but it doesn't matter for me! Then it took me nearly 1 hour the remove the left over tape. And finally stick the K emblem nicely after cleaned the left over tape. hey guy! i've one stupid question want to ask, i'm interested to install the bodykit but just wondering wat to do with the original body kit after we install the body kit? bro saimatkong, i also interested for the PPS in sg. is the bulk purchase is closed? |

QUOTE(sugen @ Mar 11 2010, 04:57 PM) I predict that Forte Malaysia will become top selling car on non-local car segment.. Just like Singapore.. Oversea Forte is dong well.. I see no reason y not for Malaysia.. Ha! u r so optimistic! But freanky speaking, Malaysian mind set is very difficult to change. Maybe this need 10 years. Attached the sales record in malaysia in Jan 2010, no record show how many forte been sold in Jan? Msia car sala record This post has been edited by ylchew77: Mar 11 2010, 05:21 PM |

QUOTE(christ_liew @ Mar 12 2010, 12:23 PM) it's not possible to prevent your car from being scratched. Unless you park your car in your house for exhibition only lo. My car also got tiny scratch on right passanger door on the 1st day after my drove my car from highway. I've 2 suggestion. 1. cheaper way. go n buy this http://item.taobao.com/auction/item_detail....jhtml?cm_cat=0 but i don know how to take out if you wan to replace with new one in future. 2. more expensive way, go for PPS or sierrar glow enjoy your ride! |
