epo, i spoke to one of the SA's (not my SA coz mine is lousy. This is slightly reliable i think) and he said for 2.0; the car is already here but now Naza is solely concentrating on releasing the 1.6s first since the demand for the latter is far greater....Apparently, customs had instructed Naza to do all necessary and declare the car as 'u know what i mean". So, alot of work is required to change the status hence they r doing for 1.6 first

Latest u can get 2.0 would be in March according to him.....So, thats the latest news i got and just sharing with some of you 2.0 owners (like me too).....so, i reckon if anyone of us gets 2.0 in Feb itself, then it wud be bonus laa otherwise just hold our horses and wait till March la bros

i went to a Naza branch yesterday (not the place i booked the car kei) and was talking to the SA....all of the sudden he showed me a document i.e something like a log kinda thing that showed the allocation of cars i.e 1.6ex & sx as well as 2.0....u know what?? there are 8 (4 klang valley and 4 outside klang valley) allocated / going to be allocated to branches

hmmmm....next question to him was which are the branches!! but he didnt know so went back a bit happy thou not knowing the branches allocated

just called careline and spoke to a lady and asked on whether or not she knew the branches that would be allocated with 2.0....hmmm initially she was a little hesitant to reveal but after some "charm" i managed to seal the deal (but god knows if she was telling the truth)....ok here it is....she told me only 2 branches have been allocated the car i.e Selayang and Puchong....but she said she doesnt know if the car would be displayed or not....so guyz head down to these branches and see if she was telling the truth.....AND PLS DO SHARE THE INFO

Hi Guyz, i went to Kia Selayang just now and true enough there was a titanium silver (according to the SA but looks a bit like Metal Bronze to me) in the showroom....Basically, he said only 4 units allocated to branches thus far i.e Selayang, Puchong, JB and TTDI...so u guyz might want to chck whether he was telling the truth

Basically the 2.0 is just like the 1.6sx in exterior looks and no emblem to differentiate between a 1.6 and 2.0....and for Izputra, yes the unit i saw comes with an auto cruise....so u can be really happy now

then i went on to check the engine and my gut feeling tells me that the engine looks slightly bigger than the 1.6 (maybe GEMA and THETA factor)

unfortunately, no test drive is allowed since it's meant for display only...SA told me that cars should be allocated to customers late next week or beginning 15 March, the latter makes more sense to me i reckoned.....

he added that those booked at branches would be getting their ride earlier than dealers since branch is anak emas and dealer is anak tiri....hmmmm whatever it is janji by the end of the month, i would be drivin my baby ody

OVERALL: PATIENCE WORTH IT / PAYS OFF

The only let down is there is no 2.0 emblem behind of the car..  mad.gif  mad.gif Which i think absolutely unacceptable. Will source for a 2.0 emblem when i buy the car later..

Highly recommended!

PS: SA said no free gifts at all... and he also said no need to tint the wind screen, since it has been 'pre-tinted', is that true???

hahahah....finally the guy who had tested the 2.0 earlier than me emerges....btw bro, thanks for your info......and guess what the steering really is LIGHT....mannn the wonder of MDPS huh?? Well done KIA

Certainly hope these gadgets are of quality and long lasting thou very much depending on our driving style maybe....i dont know.....GOOD JOB KIA
