Hi bros,

I'm interested in getting the Forte, any recommendation which particular branch has better SA? I'm from Subang, so nearest is either SS17 or Mentari branch.

Actually leaning towards the 2.0, but worry the waiting list is too long...and comment from all the experience bro here biggrin.gif May downgrade to 1.6SX, but don't want to wait for 3 months sad.gif

Go for Mr Gan from SS17, I purchased my car from him. Highly recommended. Btw , Titarium bro can add me in the list, 1.6SX Metal Bronzetongue.gif
Thanks bro, I have gone to the SS17 branch just now, there is a unit of 2.0 at the branch.
I placed booking for 2.0 Metal Bronze, can't wait to get the car biggrin.gif

Really hope there is not too much delay, after reading all the response by all bro here, I feel a bit worry about Naza
Ask my SA even more and he said that the paperwork for the 2.0 will come in on the 15th (Monday) and once that is done it should be fast
Apparently they have about 200 units of 2.0 at the stockyard, can anyone confirm this?

Btw, is it true that if we make full payment (i.e. full downpayment) it will speed up the process of car allocation?
Currently I actually plan to trade in my existing MyVi when I collect the car but according to my SA that may delay the process
Faster if straight away pay downpayment first according to him...

Happy to join the "future forte owners' club", and hope to learn more from all bros here biggrin.gif

p/s to bro Titarium, pls add me to the list, 2.0SX Metal Bronze, thanks!

Guys, is the first batch 2.0SX already arrived & delivered?

According to my SA it is already arrived, but not yet delivered pending paperwork from authorities

The SS17 branch has one in their showroom, but not for test drive

Heyhey, i went to test drive the 2.0 beauty last few days. Have been waiting for this 2.0 beauty for like 3 months edi.

When i first get on the car, the 'cockpit' seat is very nice and comfort, leather seat do add some marks, and cant believe the steering is THIS LIGHT! Currently driving old Toyota SEG, got a Proton BLM and drove CT before, all no fight, i told this to my friend and he said the 'lightest' steering he experienced before was S-Klass, haha, bottom line is, very very light, lighter that 1.6 alot! I think you only need to use 1 finger to do U turn, hahaha.

And the power wise, what can i say more, i sat on my friend Civic 2.0 before, Forte 2.0 can produce no less power than Civic 2.0 and im loving the engine sound when i ramp on the gas pedal, highly responsive, and ah.. About the engine sound, i almost cant listen to any when i tested 1.6, even when i press hard, but the 2.0, when u need comfort, u will get it, when u need power, there u get it! Really really awesome experience!  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

The only let down is there is no 2.0 emblem behind of the car..  mad.gif  mad.gif Which i think absolutely unacceptable. Will source for a 2.0 emblem when i buy the car later..

Highly recommended!

PS: SA said no free gifts at all... and he also said no need to tint the wind screen, since it has been 'pre-tinted', is that true???

Hi bro Grotesk, glad to hear your experience on test driving the 2.0

May I ask where you test drove it, I actually booked the 2.0 without testing it so would be good to have a feel of it!

hi bros, I have a question (hopefully you all don't think it's a stupid question) sad.gif

can the Forte 2.0 run on our RM1.80/litre Ron 95 petrol? and if can, is it advisable or should use the Ron 97?

thanks!
