Just follow whatever the manufacturer asked to will be fine. If you don't mind about the warranty, then go for whatever you prefer, no one force you to follow. Although the warranty is very little compare to others but at least if (touch wood) anything happen, they can find out the root cause faster, not telling me it is because the engine oil you used and we don't support on it.

Good thing, we consumer can get more benefit when the competitor are fighting each other, just like last time Digi vs Maxis, we get lower and lower rate. Let see when Honda is going to improve on the keyless and push start and also the sound proof.
