I've been "on & off" checking this thread since end Jan 2010.

I've checked out this Forte baby @ Naza, Shah Alam. It's sleek & fabulous.
So, all the Forte on the road now are 1.6 EX or SX only?
2.0 still no sign....how come? Is there any problem with our government or Kia/Naza?

Now, I am considering of getting one, but before hand, would like to know, beside the low resell value, is there any other flaws - quality issue, problem in electrical stuffs & others?

I can see the trend who were previously active in this forum will gradually disappear after they collected their forte.

no other flaw. if there is also, its stated in the manual as common thing. ie head lamp condensation.. but in SG they able to fix them.
and also alignment out when you get the car. but can fix. so far no other major problem except problem cannot tahan from driving the car!!!


i also seldom see one.. last time saw 2 on the road at same route via LDP.. very nice when compare to other cars. forte sexy back can give you cargasm.

this thread will die if no problem with our forte.. i rather wish this thread to die (means no problem for forte at all!!) than active with rant, whine, problem, defect, regret, etc... kekekekekeke

Yup currently only 1.6 OTR ... no confirmed news for 2.0 just yet.

As for resale value, i wouldnt say that its low or high cos none in the 2nd hand or trade in market yet. if NAZA were to bring up the price slightly and gradually, then i dont think the resale value will be that bad ... Spectra has a very bad resale value cos of the bad FC, now Forte FC is a lot better than Spectra and not to mention all the features and good look ... if the demand for Forte is there, the resale value will not be low. I really hope that NAZA will throw in the 5 yrs warranty with a slight increase in price, that will boost the sale, change people's mentality (poor quality and expensive spare parts) and also increase the resale value, which will further conbribute to the sale.

As for other flaws, none so far after driving for almost 2 months but slightly less than 3K km only

LOL. Nice to meet fellow forte on the road. Your Si Putih looks so sexy with the K emblem.. My wife immediately asked me to get one of those K emblem.. then I told her, cannot laa.. those K emblem are only for OTAI/TAIKO fortezian.. newbie only can wear NAZA emblem.. hahaha..

Just collected my Forte from LCCT, sigh, parking fees is 121.50! But, luckily my babe is not "disturb" by others.

my average is 80-90km per day = at least 30k per yr. which is also why when i trade in my 1 1/2yr car they quoted me lower value.
