TO WARNING ALL BUYER NOT TO GO SS14 DIGITAL MALL A COUNTER NAME NETZCOM TO BUY HANDPHONE!!!

30/1/10 I went to digital mall and looking for my new Samsung Jet handphone , and I asked few counter about the price . when I walk till Netzcom counter , the salesman (name Chong) asked me to buy Nokia5800XM , he said this is last set of this model . after compare the price and function , I decided to choose 5800xm.

At 1st he open RM1050 , from my survey from other place, nokia 5800xm is around RM950-1050 , so I think price is ok with me . after that he said this phone is come with 2gb micro SD card , and he said have to top up RM 50 he will give me 8gb card . ( cus I never think I will buy 5800 so I didn’t do much survey ! ) , I said ok , I topup rm 50 !! ( after I go home , I only saw the box of 5800XM got wrote that 5800XM original come with 8gb micro sd !!! ( damn , mean he lied customer ! )

Ok after that , he asked me wanna install garmin GPS software onot ? I asked how much . he said RM 200 , this is for whole life fees , paid to garmin company . and he said this is promotion price for new buyer , if next time come back to install the software , he want to charge me RM280 !! I said ok too , cus I trusted that he is a honest salesman !! ( after that checked from online , garmin GPS software is free for download after cracked ! or some more I go lowyat and sgwang to asked , they also charge around RM 30-50 only !!! ) so , how come he will charged me RM 200 and said is paid to garmin for registered ????

After that I back home and called to garmin office , they said they never charge this fees!!!

Ok now , as normal , 5800XM is selling RM 9xx at outside , even at nokia center also RM 11xx , but now he charge me until RM 13xx !!! wth ? my friend bought a 5800xm come with 8gb and garmin software for FREE !! just RM 950 !!

So all please take attention !! not to go this “ black shop “ to buy hand phone , their service are sucks!!! They are cheater !!!

now u complain also useless..
ask them refund u rm200 for the garmin, i think they put u a illegal ver.. can sue them

always survey...bring along a handphone expert friend whenever you want to buy HP

200 for garmin is too ridiculos...

they say is registered fees !! for whole life ! i tot is original !

Go back and threaten him back, ask him to full refund the set. Else you say will lodge a report to garmin and consumer tribunal. He is selling you something illegal using the name of Garmin.

Btw, do you have the receipt? What it is written? Please show us to avoid misunderstanding.

if cannot get refund, u maybe should accept that the extra amount u pay as a learning fees.. at least u learn something..
before buy anything should check and do research first..
