it was scarry as i was right in the middle of a jam. can someone explain??? its due for 10k service now (meter reading at 11.5k).

for which part?

the door handle or the car spring/suspension?
*
rear 'tang tang or clonk clonk' sound = my sc chief foreman told me its common for saga because the suspension springs do not have that cushion like other cars. so, if you do turning at certain angle, even slow as i tried, the suspension is compressed and the spring hits one another !!! (s0mething like that la...). he said some saga drivers used bicycle tubes and somehow 'wrapped' up the ends of the springs ....

proton sc in ipoh advices to use 10/30 semi-synthetic engine oil but it costs rm102. others are too 'heavy' as i was told. but the quality of the petronas oil is simply sh*t as the engine gets more noisy.

i was quite 'lucky'. i went to the sc often and made complaints and complaints ... finally i got a new replacement for iafm few months back, and today i got a new steering wheel drive shaft or something. now the steeering is very smooth, but a little hard.

my windscreen wipers had been making huge noises .. like tok tok tok and click click click. finally the foreman advise too change the blade. it costs me rm35. no choice la. never follow me like last time as i went to outside accessories shop and bought a new pair of wipers (thise without the back metal rod, only rubber type). it was because those wipers WITHOUT the metal backbone will make the wipers literally jumping on the windscreen !!!

about the 'hard' door knob. just go tp the sc, and they will EASILY fix it for you. i did that too, and my doors are so lovely ... brows.gif

about fc. i had been complaining about it. rm50 only lasts me 200km exactly for town driving. now my friend;s new saga (auto) runs only 180km. the foreman said some saga can be worst. so, i stopped complaining ... cant ask for too much for a 37k car.

for 250-300 price, they will give u few samples to test under hot bulb, survey any other shop also.
pick any that u think worth it. yes they will recommend you tint that can pass jpj inspection, if not warranty will cover in case its not passed jpj test.

mikehwy,
i was thinking about changing to boneless wiper before, they look cool.
*
xshiro,

my sc foreman said CANNOT use the boneless one. i bought mine, at cost, for rm48. it is a fat with very soft rubber. it feels like 'keuh tiao' as i hold it on my hands. but they literally JUMP on the screen !!! they are now in my store room. mad.gif

fc remains bad, at 190km for rm50 fuel. esso is the best for my auto as the torgue is strong and the car is powerful.

Wanna Ask you guys a few question:

My car timing belt started got those "nyeek nyeek " sound, does it mean I need to change the timing belt already? It happens during the time you just ignited the engine, after running a while, the sounds gone..

My steering keep vibrating during car engine idling..does it mean my car mounting need to change already?
hmm.gif

Added on May 30, 2010, 5:09 pmAnother question: where can ge tthe R3 Emblem? wanna replace Proton.. tongue.gif
*
if you go to sc these problems should be resolved easily. timing belt only makes sound for old cars. maybe yours need refitting or greasing of the motor only.

for vibrating wheel, you must go back to sc. maybe its the shaft? i changed mine for FREE. just my opinion. rclxub.gif

Want to ask something, please reply. thanks....

my speedomoeter lately can see one of the red 'lights' lit up. it is the 1st on the top row of the lights. it looks like a driver sitting on the driving seat, with a rounded ball on the stomach!!! i think its the airbag light? OMG, will it explode when i am driving ???? it lit up few times the last 3 months. my saga is about 13k mileage.

thought of bringing it back for service but then not likely the sc can see the lights wor (not lit all the times) ?
