mlsgamer, good suggestion but for racing plug cable no need cos blm use coil on plug...already better than performance spark plug cable

Added on June 20, 2010, 12:41 am QUOTE(MR_alien @ Jun 19 2010, 05:32 PM) what do u mean symentry? not windy la..i drive along MRR2..maybe bcos of the road condition, gonna drive fast at straight road , and release the steering see whether it got run alignment o nt..u mean straight??? no mine after spacer both tyres look like a abit V shape but it's straight Added on June 19, 2010, 5:34 pm that could be the wind is it very windy?..check the trees around u mine also will goyang2 when it's very windy from the left side this car is not very good on windy condition...the car design isn't perfect i think Added on June 20, 2010, 12:43 am QUOTE(yngwie @ Jun 19 2010, 08:41 PM) was the center of gravity problem(high roof and less width). couple with the small stock tyre and soft stock suspension. yaya, i think the suspension affects a lot on the stability, and the car is tall and lesser width..after years of driving a non torsion beam rear suspension car, i've got a shock of my life when i push the saga blm to the limit in corner at mex. then again, we get what we paid for the only solution is change suspension and lowered it!!! Added on June 20, 2010, 12:45 am QUOTE(nabelon @ Jun 19 2010, 08:43 PM) anti roll bar should help, but expensive..but defintely all those bar will help , but not 100%, example, before you install front strut bar, when cornering, the car goyang abit, but after installed, the car more stable, wont "jump".. Added on June 20, 2010, 12:47 am QUOTE(kcng @ Jun 19 2010, 08:48 PM) anyone with fully adjustables for their BLM ? i think no gua, adjustable is not cheap..most of them are installed sport spring..i just want to know... if i set the adjustables to 2 fingers gap front and rear.... if i load 3 adults in the backseat with weekend suitcases, will the rear sink alot? my sis just got the BLM today and i intend to get rid of the stock suspension... i just could not stand the incredible body roll... haiz...the rear suspension is too soft la.. QUOTE(coolkwc @ Jun 20 2010, 01:46 AM) Although is soft, but sit behind is quite comfortable for me...i just sit behind twice only, somemore is another BLM, not mine. ya..it is comfortable..but maybe i always driving alone or with gf..so for me, i prefer to have a little harder suspension at back.. So my opinion is stock suspension comfort is OK, but stability performance during cornering is not so good. I think most of the road car stock suspension is like that. |

QUOTE(yngwie @ Jun 20 2010, 07:23 PM) nope. strut bar / rear bar or whatever bar only help in handling / cornering. ya...for standard saga 1.3, no point installing a strut bar. good tyre / rims and suspension / engine performance upgrade will be better. btw, am in the middle of upgrading a saga 1.3 to 1.6 using the 1.6 campro stroker with crankshaft, piston and conrods. wonder how much it costs for upgrading it..heard some say is around rm3k? QUOTE(gtiwtks @ Jun 21 2010, 11:47 AM) Hi All, try to check your power steering oil level, or directly go to ask SC technician...I don know how light is your sgti steering, so cannot make any comment.Just gotten my wifey saga 2 days ago... need some feedback from some owners of saga.... I find the power steering is kind of heavy compare to myvi and my sgti... is it normal? My sgti is even on a 13.8 " momo steering somemore but feel more lighter... One more thing, is it normal for the engine block to wobble visiblely when is idling? Looks like engine mounting spoilt but can feel some slight vibration on the steering wheel only. Feedback will be greatly appreciated. engine block sure will wobble, but not significant. since you said your steering wheel vibrates, so it is mounting problem d, I tot new car should not happens in this case? |

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Jun 21 2010, 11:54 AM) torresism no lah..adjustable also can install for normal street driving ma..my collegue 's honda city handling just nice..cornering nice..even there are 5 ppl inside the car,it still can take corner easily..body roll not significant..no wonder he always go genting.. people dun use adjustable coz there is no need to waste that much for maintenance and no one plan to get their ride for drifting or competition also. gtiwtks that is wat we call :lotus handling. I forget to see what adjustable he is using...tomorrow let me check and see..
was a joint project on a friend's 1.5 years old car. mine is barely over 6 months old so far almost rm2k with half way labour cost. not finish yet. without the high cam. piston diameter is identical. workshop confirmed it only require a 1.6 stroker. hopefully, the stock auto gearbox could handle it.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « yes. saga steering is heavy and feel disjointed. to me, at least. lucky my sister get to drive it most of time. i can confirm that myvi and satria gti was lighter. engine sometimes wobble during cold start(mine only start to wobble recently and there is a spring sound inside the steering column (steering vibrate during engine idle). i guess we get slightly below our expectation for that price. the only bonus was that the soft stock suspension setup(if you like it) could fly over any speed bump...anytime
ok, update us when it is done Added on June 21, 2010, 9:26 pm
Actually heavy steering is good, your car will feel more stable when driving high speed. U try drive myvi high speed and see, steering keep shaking like nobody's business
ya..it is a good point too..but the steering is fine for me...
