about this run-in thing... i've once read a forummer in SNC said he whack his engine, high revving during run-in period, and on dyno, his car is the most powerfull stock campro around 100 bhp on wheel.. i'm not sure what happen to his engine now but i believe i've seen his nick in LYN too, kcng if i'm not mistaken..

chase Vios, Wira, can la...but I cannot chase my fren City, maybe he open Vtec...terus lost d..haha..even though i maintained above 3k rpm with BLM on every gear..

but do remember to check the road condition when going up genting, if it is after rain, better dont, i saw a few EK, EG kena and stopped at roadsite...

dear sifu, wanna ask u guys something... I already installed a VS(voltage stabilizer) but then when the compressor kicks in... I still feels my car jerk and my light will dim for a sec...
Is it because I didnt fix the grounding?? or even with grounding it is still the same ar???

VS wont solve the compressor kick in problem one..I tried a few, and using one of the high capacity VS whoch bought from a Forumer, but it wont really helps.

My opinion is our car still new, we dont need to do grounding as the wire is new...but if you install grouding, it does hlep to improve a little bit, i assume.

jerk is normal, just try not to turn your air cond temperature to the max..maybe half turn is coll enough..

Seriously though, Saga blm is geared more towards handling than performance. Proton should have given a 1.5 litre engine instead. 1.3 litre is inadequate for the Saga.

1.3 litre engines are more suitable for smaller cars like Myvi.

no choice, Campro only got 1.3 and 1.6, but those member who own the 1.6L Saga BLM, is just good enough..

By the way, 1.3 campro displacement is 1332cc...

Ic ic... but my fren told me to turn the air-cond temperature lower (colder) and the fan speed to 2 so it will jerk lesser because the compressor kicks in not that frequent... i tried that it works... but 1 thing proton car win others and that is our air conditioning... so with lower temperature and fan speed 2... damn cold ler...

But if wanna change from 1.3 campro engine to 1.6 campro engine... will it costly arr??

VS won't help kickin jerk problem. Nothing to do wif the electrical system, just our engine don't have fuel compensation once u step on the throttle (at idle speed, ECU will increase fuel inject to maintain the engine speed). I 90% time the temp is minimum, sometimes hot just open fan to 2, enuf for me, at least it solve jerk problem. By this setting, the compressor will kickin every 30-35s, else if u open middle temp, it will kickin every 10s, feel suck especially at low gear during traffic jam...as long as ur car is at high speed then is ok.

yea... low gear during traffic jam really sucks... kicks in so frequently no matter how u set the temperature/fan speed... feels like horse riding sometimes... especially on gear 1... sigh

yup 15" but tire using 185/55/R15... was quoted for RM210 per donut, but i reckon it's about RM195.

speaking about springs absorber... I'm looking to improve my ride with an RM700 budget.

What should I change first, spring or absorber? both are obviously beyond my mean as good abs are expensive. Using a better spring (not overtly lowered) with standard abs, will it help?

Not looking for super-lowered go-kart handling, just want to remove the floating sensation and maybe lower my car by 15mm
