I had the same problem like u as well. It happens to me twice. Last week, it took me more than 4 times to push the key to START for more than 10 seconds for it to start. Before this, so forumers said that it might be the battery causing the problem. My car is almost 1 year plus. I don't think the battery would so fast dies off even though its maintenance free. I think it should last at least 2 years. Going to bring my car to SC to let them check. See whether is my battery low or starter problem.

Arghh Today i spotted a small gecko inside the car boot, can't get rid of it, and its hide inside the gap adi...i also notice some 'shit' left over on top of the speaker board. How come it come inside my car while my car don't have any food for it?   i personally quite scare this small monster.

Any idea how to get this monster out of my car? I scare accident will happen if it suddenly appear in front of me during driving.

**use shell ron97 v-power prior to genting trip
**install noise insulation material on the fron bonnet cover. at least, it lessened the noise in minimal way.
**use better drop in air filter for slight increase of power / 4-2-1 extractor.

the sound was prolly' from the brake. i do notice the rear drum brake is quite noisy. saga brake is quite weak.
are you still using the stock tyre? the lousy stock tyre does contribute to the bad ride(due to bad traction and grip) overall.

nah, should be on ron97 v-power at least 3 days prior to genting trip. this will allow the engine / ecu to adapt to the higher ron grade.
there is no immediate effect feel' even if it's almost an empty tank.
changing to performance brake pad is a waste of money. remember; bendix mkt is a performance brake pad. it will only works well in certain temperature but that isn't a problem.
bendix metal king need to be paired with performance disc brake for maximum performance. while paired with stock saga disc, all you get is more dust and worn out disc at a lot more higher rate. btw, saga rear brake is of drum type. bendix does not produce a performance brake shoe.
beside changing to better / wider profile tyre, rear disc brake conversion might help or dual layer brake servo for solid feel.
another option is using twinpot stopper at the front but this will require at least 15" wheels.
there are only 2 thing that matter most when it comes to brake stopping capability; the amount of caliper, and the size of the disc.
anything else will only compromise on fade effect.

actually, the standard bosch / mintex brake pad is already good enough. perhaps, you could consider braided brake hose upgrade which
eliminate the bubbling thus give a better braking feel.
it's normal on saga. problem was we did not know which brand of semi-synth was the proton service center pour in.
if you noticed, car wil return a slightly good fc after every service.
195/55/r15 should be fine. still return around 0.18/km on ron95.
consider investing on voltage stabilizer. it's quite effective in it's own way.

your blm is an auto? tried genting...?  normal la auto..cannot naik bukit as good as manual

only need to change 2 brake pad...the rear is drum brake
i think 100-120...can search from garage sales
planning to change mine to that as well when it's time to change
did u open aircon when going up....cuz if u dn't....i dn't see it had any problem going up genting...even if it's auto

Added on July 15, 2010, 12:21 amI would suggest to change fully sync at rating 5w30 or 10w30 and invest some electronic device like pivot vs-e, spark earth, ignition earth cable, iridium plug, drop in filter. For brake pad, bendix mkt, mintex are good enough, bosch brake pad consider as oem spec which better then stock lil bit.

bro...i tried - shift L then 2 more powerful than simply use 2...

normal climbing 2-3rd gear

then steep one use L/2

cannot claim...changed engine ady 

claim mine last april. need to pay some amount. cant remember the exact cost but confirm below RM10. my saga door handle on the driver side....

if cannot claims, bye bye service center. better service outside and save the money for replacement.
